This book is a teaching aid for the Social and Political Education textbook of the 5th grade of primary school. In a simple and systematic way, it helps students familiarize themselves with concepts such as democracy, human rights, pluralism, the rule of law, participation, decision-making, etc. Its goal is to help them realize the importance of being active and responsible citizens and to prepare them for their integration into society.

The structure of the book is as follows:
- The main points of the lesson, presenting the key points of the curriculum with necessary explanations.
- Answers to the questions-activities of the textbook.
- Review questions ("Checking my knowledge"), with the answers at the end of the book.
- Additional information for each lesson, in the form of notes and references (excerpts from newspapers, books, websites, etc.).
- Examples of Work Plans, with instructions on how to create them, which can be carried out by students in collaboration with each other, their teachers, their families, and the municipality to which they belong, and can be found in the Appendix of the book.
