[...] The album of "Militos" editions, which complements "Pelion, the name of paradise", surprises with the depiction of the unique landscape of the Northern Sporades, as seen from above by the lens of Yiannis Giannelos. The texts by Thanasis Vassileiou narrate moments of myth, history, and the rich tradition of the Northern Sporades and organize an anthology dedicated to the islands. Both contributors of the album show the sea of the Sporades, a complex of blue-green rock cliffs scattered by the playful Otos and Ephialtes, daydreaming, traveling, and listening to the sweet evening prayers of the archangels, Alexander Papadiamantis and Alexander Moraitidis, the words of Kaisarios Dapontes and Pavlos Nirvana. If God has bestowed upon any place the natural beauty and poetry of the most flourishing Greek language, then this place is the diamond of our Magnesia: the Northern Sporades.
