    Reading the many positive comments here, I decided to proceed with the purchase of the CTEK-Start Stop. My battery is 4 years old in a car with 7,500 km. Before using the charger, I measured it with a multimeter and it was 12.45V. In new cars with start-stop, the batteries are of a new type, more powerful, and when they "drop" below 90% (12.6V), from the 14V that the NEW ones are... then the start-stop system does not work, so as not to further burden the battery. On the first day, I charged it for 8 hours, and on the second day, for 10 hours, using a cable from the ceiling and connecting it directly to the Positive pole and the chassis of the car, without disconnecting the car. The indications of the CTEK showed "charge" for the 18 hours it was in operation! I decided to disconnect the car from the battery and charge it like that... In 10 hours, the indication went to "Care," which means it is no longer charging and is in maintenance mode. Removing the charger from the car, the battery showed 12.9V, and the next day it went back to 12.45V, which was the initial voltage. I decided to completely remove the battery from the car and charge it (?) on my balcony for 1.5 days with the same result... i.e., in 2 hours, it went from "Charge" to "Care." When I put it back in the car, it was at 12.8V. In my case, where I wanted it to at least reach 95% and STAY there... it did not work, and my purchase was unsuccessful, as I spent 95€ when I could have simply bought a NEW one with the same amount of money and be fine for another 4 years. I do not recommend it.

    Because I underestimated this charger and now, after the summer vacation... I have a completely different opinion. The car, after the charges I mentioned above, worked flawlessly as if I had replaced the used battery with a new one. The start-stop function worked normally even if the car remained idle for 3-4 days. I am raising the rating from 2 to 5 stars because it is one of the best purchases I have made. Note: I am not deleting the first review for the sake of truth.
