The sander is intended for amateur use. Its power is moderate and it would be best not to force it, as it will unnecessarily strain it - just let it do its job. It may take a bit longer, but it will get the job done. By the way, I have had it for a year and I have pushed it to its limits. For a purchase of 50 euros, it is definitely worth it. I bought the product to scrub rust off a boat. The scrubber worked for a few days at high speeds and eventually burned out. It is very convenient but not suitable for heavy use.
