With this specific machine, you need to know what you are buying.
The machine is of low construction quality and performance, as it "does it all and is cost-effective."
The performance in vinyl reproduction, which is the most important factor, definitely requires a new needle to satisfy even the most basic needs.
It has a built-in plastic needle, which is likely the worst in terms of quality, and even if replaced with a metal one, the difference in sound is noticeable. I'm not even talking about a diamond, it makes no sense to put a diamond on such a machine, and I don't think diamond needles are even available for this type.
Furthermore, due to the fact that all parts except the cabinet are plastic, it suffers from sound leakage in the mid-range speaker (horn). Even when the volume is at zero, you can hear the leakage through the arm, which of course negatively affects the overall experience.
In conclusion: it is okay as a machine (and reasonably priced) for someone who is an absolute beginner, children, and the elderly, who have minimal requirements for vinyl reproduction and are satisfied with mediocre sound in other aspects (radio, USB, CD, cassette).
Someone who is looking for even a somewhat quality solution will not be satisfied in any case.
Excellent, very good and user-friendly. My grandmother is very happy with the purchase and is enjoying the last 2 weeks of her life wonderfully. Thank you for making me remember my grandmother with a happy face putting records on a record player, instead of sitting in bed all day cursing the young people and the government. Thank you very much from the depths of my heart!
With this purchase, I fulfilled a big dream of mine. It had record plates, which my father remembers from his teenage years, without being able to listen to them for many years. So, searching for reviews here and abroad, I ended up buying this turntable. Aesthetically, it is very beautiful, perfectly resembling an antique. All the pieces are well packaged and easily connect to each other. There is a central button (ON/OFF) on the "back" of the device. By turning the front switch to the "radio" option, the front face lights up with a soft white light, which includes the numbers and the needle for selecting the station. The analog format is effortless, especially for an elderly person. The stations change quickly. The radio antenna is located on the back in the form of a thin cable. On the right side of the device, there is a cassette slot. Like a proper "antique," the cassette enters the vertical margin that exists, pulls it in, and you have only one option: to press the button again to eject it. There is no possibility to "fast forward" or "rewind" the tape. On top, there is the turntable, which has three speed options: 33, 45, and 78. The CD player works fine. It also takes a USB stick, but I didn't need to try it. Two additional needles are provided in the package in case the first one breaks. The speaker is internal, there is no possibility to connect external speakers via cables on the back. However, the sound is really clear and satisfactory in intensity. You can't have a party, but surely at maximum volume, you can't help but "shake." Let me just tell you that on the turntable, we listened to gramophone records over a hundred years old, with titles like "Griva wants me, the king"... The excitement in my father's eyes was worth this purchase and more, which he didn't expect. Like a little child, he rushed to clean the records and bring them to try them out... I left enough time to pass (3 months) so that I could form a complete opinion about the device. And yes, it is a gem for the home, easily deceiving the careless eye as an "antique," it doesn't take up much space and is fully functional in what it provides.
