Over the years, I have tried several pomades and ended up with the red one from Reuzel. Besides the scent, which I personally consider one of its strongest points, it has the most important characteristics that I personally evaluate in a product. I highly recommend it to those who have straight to wavy hair with finer strands and short or medium length, as it provides a shinier result suitable for slick back, facon, and other vintage hairstyles with a wet look finish. It can be used as a pre-styling product on damp hair, and after drying for a more enhanced result. Due to its composition, if someone desires a more matte finish, I would suggest applying it only on damp hair. Its hold is exceptional as it gives you the desired result without creating an impenetrable layer that leaves no room for improvement, as it can easily be adjusted either with your fingers or a few drops of water to refresh it. It is easy to apply and like all pomades from its philosophy, it needs to be warmed up before application by rubbing it in your hands until activated. In case someone desires a very strong hold, I would recommend the blue one from Reuzel or applying hairspray after using the red one.
