I bought the Magic Trackpad on sale for 80 euros in order to use it with my Macbook on an external monitor because I really loved the trackpad of the Macbook. First of all, what impressed me is that the Magic Trackpad is white. Very white. It is whiter than my walls, my refrigerator, my washing machine, etc. and it stands out like a sore thumb among my black furniture and black computer peripherals. In the beginning, I hated the Milk White color and looked for solutions to paint it, but over time I almost got used to it.

As for the trackpad itself, I am satisfied and its huge size makes it easier to use than the trackpads on Macbooks, especially for drag & drop movements. It connects instantly via Bluetooth and has a long range. Its battery life is also satisfactory (I have only charged it once in about a month, but with minimal use, around 10 hours per week).

However, I would say that there is something that doesn't sit well with me in terms of responsiveness. The trackpad of the Macbook has an immediate response to hand movements and the whole experience is flawless. With the Magic Trackpad, someone like me will notice small jumps here and there, which I'm not sure if they are due to Bluetooth connectivity. I have also noticed that when you leave it untouched for a while, it takes 1-2 small movements to "wake up," presumably entering battery-saving mode. Additionally, the general scrolling sensation (with two fingers) is much more abrupt than the built-in trackpad, which may be justified because it is intended for larger screens. However, I find the clicks to be more pleasant than those of the built-in trackpad, as well as the force click.

Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase since MacOS almost "requires" a trackpad instead of a mouse. However, I don't know if I would recommend it to someone at its original price. The 80 euros I paid is already quite a lot, and I find 120+ euros to be excessive for a trackpad that I consider to be very good, but not perfect.
