I got it for my mother so she wouldn't have to carry all her medication boxes with her if she needs to be away from home. Everything fit in except for some effervescent tablets, for which I simply cut the plastic divider at night and used an extra compartment. It has been helpful for her so far.
The most durable and helpful cases (I have cases that I bought 6 or 7 years ago in very good condition) that I have seen. Of course, for people who take daily medication. Smaller cases for my husband, who takes much fewer medications, lasted only 1 year at most. Completely satisfied and highly recommend them.
It is a quality case, but it has 2 disadvantages in my opinion, especially if you are buying it for an elderly person who takes medication on their own.
1. The letters of the compartments should perhaps be a little larger.
2. Because it opens slidingly and since the intervals (morning, noon, etc.) are written on the transparent sliding cover, when you open it, the descriptions of each compartment move simultaneously, so the elderly person may have difficulty understanding from which compartment they should take the medication. For someone with good perception, this is not a problem, but for someone who struggles a little, I think it creates an issue. This could possibly be corrected if the description of each interval was inside each compartment and not on the transparent sliding cover.
Big and user-friendly size for my taste. Not convenient for traveling. Doesn't hold a large number of pills (needs frequent refills)
Simply the best (in my opinion) pill case.
(Although it is not cheap, it is practical and simple).
