Excellent microphone, quality construction and very good sound that isolates speech from external noise...it costs quite a bit but it's worth it, because I have tried cheaper microphones but they did not do a good job at all...sound is very important so invest in a good microphone like this because it will pay off in the future!!

Did you find this review helpful?With minimal use, not only did the plug break and need to be turned to make contact, but it also short-circuited and damaged the DSLR port, resulting in it being sent for service for 2 months waiting for a replacement. It may have been a faulty one, I sent it back and they returned it to me saying they fixed it. It is doing the same thing again. I haven't used it since. I do not recommend it.
