It is a simple branded scanner for basic functions, from which we cannot have expectations of a photo scanner that some people who bought it were expecting. The quality is equivalent and slightly better than what a hybrid scanner gives you in a multifunction device. For the target audience it is very good. Now, if someone wants to scan photos with requirements for archiving purposes, with the intention of using them for large-scale printing or layouts, then there are other models from the same manufacturer who is also the only serious one in the photographic aspect, such as the V600/V850 series

I wish it would work, as it produces high-quality scans (tiff files). Initially, everything was fine, but gradually, thin white faint lines started appearing on the file from top to bottom (along the length of the document). Now it has permanent, quite thick lines, rendering the files it produces from scanning completely useless.

It is not something amazing in terms of construction, but it does its job, neither the scanning quality is anything special. It allows you to merge PDFs, but only with the old program that you can download from the Epson website. Do not download Epson Scan 2, but Epson Scan and it will work flawlessly

I have had it for three years.. the new software does not allow you to scan multiple pages together and I have to merge them with an online PDF merger.. Also, if you don't set the settings correctly, each PDF comes out at least 5 MB!! I bought it for 100€ back then and there was no other model to choose from, otherwise I would have bought another one..
However, after many settings and hassle, it serves me for simple things..
Nowadays, a printer and scanner are essential!!

The most useless thing I have purchased. I threw it in the trash after 2-3 hours of trying to make it work properly. No matter what document or photo you scan, with any setting you choose, the end result is a mess of horizontal lines. With a quick Google search, I discovered that other models of Epson have similar issues. But the worst part is that this is not due to the software, but to the hardware itself. So, good luck finding a solution.

Do not make the mistake of taking this scanner seriously. I bought it a few days ago to scan a large family archive. After about 400 scans, a line suddenly appears at random points in the photo, as if connecting the photo. It's better to spend a little more money and get the v370, which is much better. Let's say this flaw happens once in a thousand scans. The worst thing of all is that I left it for last. The scanner makes so much noise that it becomes tiresome after the first 2 minutes of use. I listen to music at 95 db and the scanner sounds even louder. One last thing. From the epson software, I don't see anything about 48-bit color depth anywhere. It only has 24
