It absorbs immediately and hydrates you for quite some time later. The scent is a little heavy, but that's how jasmine is in cosmetics, so if you like it, you're good.
The smell reminds me of fabric softener. As soon as it is applied, it has a strong jasmine scent, but as time passes, it leaves a sweeter, fresher smell. However, if you prefer sweeter scents, choose the fig fragrance from the same company.
I bought the lotion with great joy after reading the good reviews and because I also like the scent of jasmine. However, when it is absorbed by the body, the nice jasmine scent disappears and after 5-6 minutes it leaves behind a sour smell of patchouli (it is mentioned in the ingredients).

I use it daily after swimming in the winter and in the sea in the summer. I really like it and it is a substitute for the L'Occitane Almond cream for me since it is excessively expensive. I would like its texture to be thicker (like the L'Occitane cream). The scent is wonderful and it absorbs very well. I love it and I buy it for 7 euros on offer!!! So it's worth its money!! I highly recommend it without reservation!!!
