I had the s20 fe and I was ready to get the s23 plus, but then I remembered that Asus also has its gaming phones (maybe they should advertise more, I see Samsung and Xiaomi everywhere).
The camera is very good and stable. The processor is powerful and can easily play PS2 or Android games at 120fps. The cooler they provide is not just a fan, but it also has a Peltier cooler, which is like a refrigerator. It performs very well, but it's not meant to be kept at max and held, it freezes your hands. It might be good for the summer though. It's fine to use it on a stand without holding it or to hold it but on the low setting. I also noticed a problem with the air triggers, but it doesn't happen all the time. I noticed that it happens when you make fast finger movements (aiming in FPS games) and press the triggers. It seems to be a software issue and they will probably fix it. I hope so because I paid a lot of money for it. I didn't see any problems with the PS2 emulator, only in COD Mobile and Fairlight (Fairlight only happened to me twice in 10 games, in COD it happened almost in every game). I like that it looks different aesthetically, it doesn't look like other phones. As for bugs, it only froze once after ending a call and restarted on its own (classic Android). It has many options for battery protection, you can set a limiter to slow down the charging (you can skip once to get the 65 watts), you can set a limit to charge up to 90% (or skip once), you can bypass battery charging so that the phone doesn't heat up while playing and charging. It has a background mode, you can minimize games (e.g. to download updates) and continue your work normally, you don't have to wait 10-20 minutes for the updates to download. You can even listen to the game's music (if you want). So I downloaded assets for COD and League of Legends at the same time. And last but not least, it has a headphone jack.
Edit: The background mode also works on YouTube even with the screen off.
Edit 2: Regarding the issue with the triggers and COD, there was an update a week ago and I no longer have any problems.
The air triggers, even after the upgrade, do not respond correctly at all in shooting games. Money wasted.
Update: After the Asus update, the triggers respond much better
