Mediocre to indifferent! Prefer the "silent patient"! It is on the other end.... It's like someone else wrote it!!!
It has nothing to do with the style of his previous books. It is a simply well-written murder novel with a nice plot. I was a bit disappointed because I expected more suspense and twists like in his previous books.

after the masterpiece "The Silent Patient" and "The Daughters," I was expecting something similar... unfortunately, it wasn't what I expected.
If you haven't read his previous books, you could say it was a fairly interesting novel...
Having read the previous 2 books by the same author, which I considered to be top-notch for their genre, unfortunately, this one disappointed me. Minimal action and suspense, I struggled to finish it compared to the others that can be read non-stop.
