I will not buy this kind of cardboard scratching post again. My cat only uses it to eat the cardboard and the sides tear very easily. It has already destroyed it and doesn't even scratch its nails on it. The only reason I didn't give it 1 star is because it keeps him entertained at least. I have another scratching post that is made of cardboard but its sides are wooden and he uses it constantly for his nails, so I recommend getting something that won't break within the first month. Also, the price is a bit excessive for a simple cardboard.
