At first, I got the m27q. Okay, it's a decent monitor but the 2K resolution on a 27-inch screen wasn't enough for beautiful and smooth text, mainly. So, I got the 4K.

This monitor is amazing. The 4K on a 27-inch screen provides a very good pixel density and everything becomes very smooth and retina-like, as they would say at Apple.

Using it with a Mac Studio, the text in the browser is very smooth and crispy.

In terms of colors, it needed a little calibration. Once I fixed it, the colors are wonderful. And it has very good brightness, which worried me because I saw that it had less brightness than the m27q.

I even enjoy movies without calibration, which can be a bit tiring.

And the switch between 2 HDMI ports is very helpful for the PS5 that I have connected to it.

What impressed me the most, coming from an LG OLED in the living room and a normal LED in the bedroom, is that the backlight bleed is almost non-existent. Maybe I'm lucky, but it's the least I've seen on an LED monitor. While the screen I have in the bedroom looks like it was made with kicks from the factory. And an Alienware laptop that I had was also quite bad. The Gigabyte monitor compares more to the OLED... surprisingly.

Overall, it's a tireless monitor and a great value for money.

I was thinking of waiting for a mini LED or OLED with similar pixel density on a 27-inch screen, which you can't find for less than 1000€ right now, to be decent in menus and everything. But after 2-3 months of having it, I might just stick with this one longer than I expected.

I am very, very satisfied. I highly recommend it. It's worth every euro. (I bought it for 630€)
