I will give it 3 stars because that's all it's worth. If you want it for work then maybe you can handle it. But if you want it for gaming, don't even think about buying it (it doesn't support most popular games)
For its cost, it is value for money for simple everyday use (games, social, music). It has nice sound, supports two app windows with simultaneous use, a fairly large screen, and its battery is quite satisfactory.
For its price, it is complete, a bit slow in browsing because it has a small processor, which is logical for this price with this large screen.
After such an experience with Xiaomi, I would expect something better... With the highly anticipated HyperOS promising a lot, but ultimately not delivering as expected... Slow in app switching, the new gestures struggle with classic apps like youtube... Overall in terms of software, I expected something much more serious... in terms of construction, the tablet looks very good.
For the money, it's ok. Maybe the best choice. The issue is that the money is little. I got it for YouTube and Netflix exclusively and I'm ok. Otherwise, it's slow and not good for anything.
I rate it with 5 stars due to its price compared to what it offers. I have loaded it with 30 applications. It says no. Excellent for everyday home and work use. I also bought a wireless keyboard, but I was not satisfied with the connectivity, but here the keyboard is probably to blame
After using it for 1 month, I am absolutely satisfied. For its price, I highly recommend it! The only downside so far is that some applications I have on my Samsung phone are not available on Google Play (which surprises me). Overall, it runs smoothly with 8GB of RAM as expected. It has very good sound, with 4 speakers in total (2 top-2 bottom), which is very convenient for me because when you touch it, it doesn't limit the sound (you hear from the top speakers).
Because I have been using tablets for about 14 years (Apple, Samsung, and now this one), it does exactly what the previous ones did. I do not use games and camera. I will update with any negatives.
We have it in a case and have put a screen protector on it. The protector broke but the screen was not affected. My kids use it constantly so I can't comment on the battery life. Overall, I would say it is satisfactory. The sound and resolution are very good, I would say.
Generally good for its price but the screen is very mediocre. Specifically, the colors appear washed out. I would not recommend it.

Very honest little tablet, with a nice screen in terms of colors but with low resolution for its size (the 90hz is a welcome gift...). Of course, you can't complain about this money. The speakers are excellent in volume and sound quality. With moderate use, the battery lasts 3 days... it is quite fast, it doesn't lag and opens applications quickly, especially if they are running in the background, so it is excellent for multitasking. Although it can play games, I wouldn't recommend it for gaming use. The cameras are just okay, they take a photo without high demands. The only complaint is that many times it doesn't ''detect'' exactly the finger location and as a result, you need to try 2 maybe even 3 times to execute a command! For the 200 euros that the 8/256 version is now, it is excellent!!
For its price, it's decent.
The battery drains quite fast and occasionally freezes, but very rarely.
For everyday use and its basic functions, it's just what you need.
Well the tablet is quite fast, (not recommended for games because the image breaks). The resolution is quite good. The sound comes from 4 speakers and supports dolby atmos. It takes a sim card for mobile phones.
The major drawbacks are the wifi antenna, which has limited range. That is, my router is in the living room, and I am in the bedroom with an intermediate wall. The phone gets 5/5 signal while the tablet gets 1/5 to 2/5.
And the biggest drawback is that it does not have GPS, resulting in some apps that I wanted not to be installed at all.

Good tablet, with a pretty good battery... got android 14, hyperos... performs well in terms of speed.. overall for the money it asks for (149 with shipping) it is very fair !! oh...and 4+4 gb ram.! Very good battery!!!
I use it for social and browsing, it's amazing with perfect battery and screen. The photos are not very impressive, but I didn't get it for that purpose. Together with the original case, it makes it heavy. At this price, I don't think there is anything else.
Excellent for multimedia use and browsing in terms of value for money. Definitely not suitable for gaming. Huge battery, good LCD screen, and the 4 speakers do a good job. The only thing that bothers me a little is that sometimes it freezes a bit when switching between applications, but within acceptable limits.
Simply sometimes it gets stuck with the 4 GB Ram and needs memory clearing, get it with 8 GB better.

You buy a tablet that is very fast, with immediate response, with incredibly clear, powerful, and high-quality sound, and for your basic needs, such as internet browsing, music, videos, movies, messages, and calls, it is the best you can buy at this price especially. The best value for money on the market by far. The camera is average. The quality is not good at night but it's okay during the day. It is not suitable for heavy gaming. The battery lasts a long time, depending on usage of course. It can last 3 or 4 days with very simple use and not all day with the screen on. This depends a lot on the user.
The comment is for the Redmi Pad SE (8GB/256GB). I will start with the RAM memory. Although 8GB is sufficient, it has the ability to add another 5GB with a "RAM memory expansion" function, reaching a total of 13GB...!! I think the smaller versions of the tablet will have the same function. The purchase was made for 210€ and based on this price, I think the tablet is very good. It hasn't lagged anywhere so far. It has 4 speakers with very good sound quality. The screen is quite good, although you need to set the brightness to maximum to have good lighting. The battery seems to easily last 2 days with normal use, several hours each day. Now, let's move on to the disadvantages. The charger they send is only 10 watts, so the charging is slow. The tablet has the ability to go up to 18 watts, so with the purchase of another charger for 10-15€, you will have much faster charging. The main camera [the rear one] is only 8MP, so don't expect anything remarkable from it, the resolution is poor. It has a considerable weight because the back is metallic. I consider this a good thing, but others see it as a disadvantage. If someone doesn't have more than 200€, they can go for the smaller version with 6GB and use the memory expansion function to increase it much higher. I didn't know this, that's why I went for the 8GB RAM version. Overall, I consider it a good purchase and I recommend it to anyone who wants something good at reasonable prices.
First day of operation! Excellent tablet! I have the 8gb/256 version! I am very satisfied with the screen and the responsiveness in everything I do! Amazing speakers and screen colors! Quality and sturdy construction!
Very good device. Sturdy in feel, where the aluminum construction helps. In the few days I have used it, it does not seem to lag, the screen is very clear and bright. The sound is strong and clear, especially when Dolby Atmos is active. The battery is simply a beast. In two hours of movie playback, it dropped from 98 to 85%. The only small drawback I find is its weight, which of course is common. Update: The software was recently updated to HyperOS, which is lighter and allows for the use of part of the storage space as memory, making it even faster (antutu from 295000 went to 306000)
