A 24.5MP BSI CMOS sensor is used for all-around shooting, impressive image quality in low-light conditions, and fast readout speeds for continuous shooting, movies, and time-lapse recording. The back-illuminated sensor design also offers noticeably clean high-sensitivity output for reduced noise when working at high ISO values. Additionally, the Zf features a high-resolution photo mode that combines multiple exposures to create a single 96MP file.

Like the Z 9 and Z 8, the autofocus system of the Z f recognizes a wide range of common subjects - people, cats, dogs, birds, bicycles, motorcycles, cars, aircraft, and trains - and uses Deep Learning technology to provide exactly the right focus and tracking for each.

Capture the decisive moment with continuous shooting at 14 fps using the mechanical shutter of the Z f, which has been tested for 200,000 cycles, or activate the C30+ for up to 30 fps using the silent electronic shutter.

The Deep Learning technology of the Z f analyzes the shooting situation and automatically adjusts the aperture, ISO, and shutter speed to match your intentions. You can automatically capture portraits with beautiful background blur or have all faces in focus for a group shot.

While shooting through the viewfinder, you can simultaneously use the Z f's touchscreen to move focus points, select a different subject to track, switch between display modes, and much more - all without taking your eyes off the scene.
