At first, I was looking for a Karcher... but because Karcher is generally very expensive and because I have been disappointed with other Karcher products before, I decided to go for something cheaper so that I wouldn't cry over my money. I ended up with this one and it turned out to be quite impressive for its price... I cleaned the couch, which had become a mess with a child and a dog, and the result was quite satisfactory. I don't think it will work well on carpets... at least not on thick carpets since the motor is only 400w, so I don't think it can do deep cleaning as it doesn't have a tremendous suction power. The sprayer is not the best either... it took effort to wet the couch properly in order to scrub the stains (for tough stains, it's good to have a brush). The tank, although I didn't measure it, must be around 2+2 liters (clean + dirty) since it emptied twice for half a couch...

Overall, for simple household use, it's value for money
