It has a fairly subtle scent - almost imperceptible after hair drying - and leaves the hair clean and soft. It doesn't moisturize excessively - after all, that's not its purpose - but it doesn't further dry out the hair. It may be slightly more expensive than other shampoos, but it is worth the money.
