I have been using it for 2 years because my eyes were bothering me and it is really effective. It did not cause me any side effects and its only drawback is that when you open the bottle, it must be used within 6 months, even if there is unused residue
It's such a shame for this specific product, which was the best on the market for many years, at least for my dry eye problem.
Since they changed the packaging, I mean the nozzle on the bottle, it's impossible to drop just one drop, a second and third one will come out, which go to waste. Besides that, the effectiveness of the eye drops is much lower compared to the past.
This is the last time I buy this product, I will search for something similar from another company.
I have been using this product for years upon my doctor's recommendation after laser eye surgery and because it claims to be preservative-free. I am satisfied because it does not stick to the eye, moisturizes and helps. However, I only gave it 3 stars just for its design. It is impossible for this nozzle to enter the eye unless half of it spills out of the eye. The previous design with the sharper nozzle was great, but if we are paying for something that spills out half of it, it is not worth it. Let the responsible parties take care of it.
I use it after laser surgery, my doctor recommended it to me in combination with other drops as it does not contain preservatives and the rest of the eye drops I take will have better absorption. It relieves the eyes quite a bit, it has a relatively better price than other drops but the nozzle (if we can call it a nozzle as it is very short) is not precise at all. Half the quantity comes out. In order not to waste the liquid, I almost touch the bottle to the inside of the eye so that the drop can roll inside.
I chose them based on reviews. I was not satisfied. I did not see any difference in my eyes. I wear contact lenses, I need hydration. I will not buy them again.
In simple words... Change the nozzle as half of the quantity comes out of the eye as it used to be!
As eye drops, it does its job... I do not recommend it for prolonged exposure to computer screens (based on personal experience)

You should know that every person is different when it comes to their eyes. Tears, even if they don't contain preservatives, always contain some substances that are tolerable for some people and not for others.
These specific tears are relatively good and tolerable.
As for those who spend hours on the computer, it would be good to create a pair of non-prescription glasses with UVA UVB filters and ANTI BLOU for the blue light from screens of all types and LED lighting. I have done it and my eyes are saved, they no longer bother me no matter how long I sit in front of a computer.

ON THE NEGATIVE SIDE, THE PACKAGING IS QUITE BASIC. WITH THE NOZZLE IT HAS, WHICH IS NOT SHARP, IT RESULTS IN DROPS BEING LOST WHEN I PUT IT IN MY EYE.

Nothing special about Systane Ultra. It had no effect on me and I consider all these products with drops particularly inconvenient, and the worst part is that they have to be consumed within a very short period of time after opening.

Unfortunately, they did not help me at all. The dryness of my eyes did not improve, and they did not provide satisfactory relief/moisturization. I used them for 2-3 weeks.
What they exactly mention, eye lubrication for dry eyes.. for over 3 years I use it several times a day.. the eyes do not worsen - they remain stable and slightly improve the condition of (conjunctivitis for about 6 years)
The specific product Systane Ultra MPDF is very effective for me. (In contrast to the Systane Gel Drops from the same company, which caused irritation and general discomfort when I used it). NOTE: There are two versions of this product (Systane Ultra), one labeled "preservative-free" and another version that does not have this label. For me, the one labeled "preservative-free" is more effective. Additionally, there is another similar product called Systane Hydration (also labeled "preservative-free"), but this one is targeted towards those who have chronic dry eye syndrome, which in my case (temporary dry eye) was not as effective as Systane Ultra MPDF.

Unfortunately, they only helped me a little at the beginning. When you put them on, they cause a slight stinging and burning sensation in the eyes, but then it returns.
Upd: In the end, the problem was in my eyes. I had an infection and it wasn't the drops' fault, so yes, I can say that they now do the job and help quite a bit

Usually I use vidilac, so my comparison is with them. Initially, I preferred them for their price and their long expiration date (vidilac only last for 1 month and I usually throw them away before finishing the bottle).
Their effectiveness is not like vidilac. They don't provide immediate relief. You probably have to apply them 2-3 times a day regularly and then the discomfort subsides. For me, who wants them to be fire extinguishing, they are not that good, otherwise they do their job quite well.
Quite a remarkable product. It provides hydration and relief to my eyes that suffer from dryness.

2021: This year, after so many years, I have the biggest trouble with my eyes, everything combined: weather, African dust, allergies, excessive computer use, etc. With Tobradex, I had temporary relief plus the fact that it is not for prolonged use due to cortisone. With simple eye drops like Vidilac and similar ones, the relief was not enough. They recommended these and from the first few seconds, I felt relief! The cap screws back on, so with one bottle, you have it for the whole day (you can even take it to work). I cannot yet know if it is suitable for long-term and systematic use.
Excellent, it helps a lot, although if it dries out, it does make some hard clumps like salt if you put it before sleep, but with a wash, this is immediately resolved.
These are truly the best eye drops I have ever tried in these past 3 years, during which my eyes get tired from studying. I wouldn't be able to function without them. I have been using them consistently for 3 months now.
