I am not satisfied at all with the battery life. That's why 4 stars. There are many cheaper watches with incredible battery life, which do almost everything the galaxy watch does. I know that the operating system is demanding but.... That's why I don't buy an Apple Watch.

For those complaining about the battery, it's good to know what you're getting. The more functions it supports, the shorter the battery life. If you want a long battery life, get the Fit 3. The Watch 6 is a very good smartwatch with top-quality construction, and if you're in the Samsung ecosystem, it's the best option.

I upgraded from the Galaxy Watch 5 (40 mm) to the Galaxy Watch 6 (44 mm) and it is a significant upgrade. The battery used to last barely 1 day, but now it easily lasts 2 days with moderate use (the difference in size may also play a role in this comparison). It is much smoother. It doesn't have the small lags in the menu like the 5. The difference in bezels is even more noticeable up close. They are 30% smaller. The Super AMOLED screen is very nice and very crisp. The only negative for me personally is the 16 GB storage. I recommend it to you.
Two were purchased from two different stores and within 2 months they both sit in their boxes. With minimal functions activated and as much savings as possible, their batteries barely last 2 days.

In a few words: if you are very interested in the battery - although it has improved compared to previous ones - I do not recommend it. For everything else, it is a very well-crafted and reliable machine that is worth the money you will spend... Although I have no affiliation with Apple and other American glosses, I believe that not only does it not fall behind in anything compared to their overrated - and overpriced - products, but it also surpasses them in some aspects...
I upgraded from Galaxy 4 to 6. I noticed improvements in the performance of the functions. The battery remains its biggest drawback, although it lasts half a day longer compared to the g4. However, if you want the range of its functions and its rich menu, it's worth it.
The best smart watch there is!! I have tried many, including Huawei, Apple, and Xiaomi.. There is nothing it can't do... Now you don't even need to look at your phone.... In terms of measurement accuracy compared to others, I consider it better due to its many sensors... Besides, that's why the battery drains quickly due to continuous measurements.. It is better than the Apple watch.. In wear os I think there is no other option because it is the most beautiful (with minimal bezel), with a top screen, thin and light on the market. Also, coming from several xiaomi bands, I didn't see a big difference in measurements and fitness to tell the truth, but your operating system definitely gives you more capabilities and customization like maps, wallet, etc. With a Samsung mobile, you have some additional functions while charging it from the mobile with reverse wireless charging (not supported on Xiaomi mobile). Small battery due to wear os but charges quickly. At the current price, it is a good purchase, while the operating system will continue to develop constantly
I recently got this coming from an Apple watch and I am very satisfied because it has more parameters to change, better screen, stronger speaker, slightly better battery, and the best thing for me is that it looks like a watch... Very good brightness in the sun... It is worth more compared to the Apple watch.

The battery lasts for 3 days for me, maybe a little longer, of course I don't wear it while sleeping so I turn it off at night. The screen of the smartwatch 6 is slightly bigger than the previous model, smartwatch 5. It shows the heart rate normally, as well as the thermometer and room temperature. Now, as for the blood pressure monitor or the electrocardiogram, I would say that we should not rely on the measurement of the smartwatch. As soon as I start my exercise, it detects it immediately and starts measuring and recording. Overall, I am very satisfied, for now.
Good watch, amazing screen and fluid experience. After 3 days, battery life is improving. I heard it 'needs like a week or 10 days so it can learn the usage. I have 1.5 days now, hopefully 2 soon.

Edit April 2024: after 6 months, battery life is shit. I'm selling it because of this. Unfortunately it is working very good but doesn't last and will have to charge it every day. Get the classic instead
Having used both the Apple Watch, it's like night and day! But for the money, which is not little, it's good!! The battery could have better durability!
The watch is quite good in terms of its functions. The battery, however, is a huge drawback. Without any significant use, it doesn't last a day. You charge it in the morning and by evening, it definitely needs charging, maybe even earlier. Additionally, the strap has an extremely poor quality of construction (see photo). This happened within just 2(!) days.
I wanted to know if this Samsung doesn't read the disappointing comments about its poor battery, resulting in the watch constantly needing to be charged. I bought it and sold it. There are other watches on the market that last over 9 days, maybe even better in terms of quality. I don't feel like taking off the watch every now and then for charging. It's not a phone.
Owner since early August with pre-order, although the price is a bit steep, I consider that it is worth it and also not worth it.
In the aspects that it is worth it, it has the largest screen with minimal bezels, making it appear to have only a screen compared to its predecessor, the more intense brightness, the better response and agility it has, as well as the new temperature sensor that it has and only works on the Galaxy Watch 6...
In the aspects that it is not worth it, and overall I am slightly disappointed, obviously, it is the battery, it barely lasts a day with Always On Display, Bluetooth, WiFi, NFC... but if you make the mistake of not charging it at night, in the middle of the next day you will be looking for a charger... I hope it will be fixed with a future update but I don't give it much chance!
In general, it is a good watch as far as I can tell since I don't have another watch for comparison, its measurements are good, it understands when you walk, when you ride a bike, and when you stop these activities!
The metal case I have put on is for protection against impacts!
Until Samsung puts a battery that lasts more than 40 hours, then it is a product for display purposes only. No usefulness and usability.
From the galaxy watch4 I went to this one, it may seem almost the same but it has changes in the areas that make the difference. Initially, the feeling of the screen is different. Smoother to touch and doesn't leave endless fingerprints like the previous one. The brightness is a big leap from the 4, as well as the overall user experience, everything is a click faster. I don't have an opinion on the battery yet, but I don't expect miracles. I comfortably want it to last the whole day. At 260 euros, which is what I found it for, it is definitely worth it.
First contact, I am very satisfied according to the money I paid. Several improvements compared to the previous model.... I will come back after a while of use.
After 10 months of use, I can say that it is reliable although sometimes the heart rate sensor does not detect correctly. Nevertheless, I would recommend it to someone who has no experience with smartwatches as a first one. There are better options in terms of ease of use and sustainability.
