High Image Detail Throughout the Magnification Range

The variable magnification 2.5-20x provides improved focus and better overall object recognition at significant distances. The HD sensor allows for maintaining a high level of image detail throughout the zoom range. The zoom changes either gradually in 2x steps or continuously for customized FOV/magnification ratio for each specific situation.

Wide Field of View

The Merger LRF XL50 offers a wide field of view for easy scanning and detection. Explore landscapes in HD quality with a wide FOV of 14 degrees and optimal magnification of 2.5x. The large format sensor allows for the best FOV/magnification ratio in its category, even at high zoom levels, up to 20x.

User Functionality

Use brightness and contrast settings to maximize the detail and informational value of the image in specific observation conditions. The user function saves the selected brightness and contrast settings in the device's memory, providing optimal image quality for the next use of the thermal imager immediately, without requiring additional adjustments.

Great Detection Range

The powerful objective lens combined with the professional-level HD 12 μm / 1024x768 pix thermal imaging sensor provides exceptional detection capabilities. A typical object with a height of 1.8 m can be detected at a distance of 2300 m in complete darkness.

Classic Design

The Merger LRF thermal imaging binoculars are designed with the classic design of daytime binoculars. With a compact form factor, these thermal imaging binoculars fit comfortably in the hand while still offering attractive exterior aesthetics and exemplary ergonomics. The six function buttons are placed in the easily accessible zone, and the most frequently used functions of the digital device are activated with a single touch.

Comfortable Viewing with Both Eyes

The optical design of Merger LRF binoculars takes into account the nature of human vision. It is natural for a person to receive visual information through two optical channels simultaneously. Viewing with two eyes is less tiring than viewing with one. This means better detection of small or faint objects and better performance in low contrast scenarios compared to similar monocular thermal imaging devices at the same technical level. The interpupillary distance in Merger LRF binoculars is adjustable from 62 to 74 mm according to the individual characteristics of each user.

Precise Laser Rangefinder

Understanding the distance to the target is a key factor in making accurate decisions. An integrated laser rangefinder with a range of up to 1 kilometer allows you to measure distances in single measurement and continuous scanning modes with an accuracy of ± 1 meter for quick and error-free assessment of the situation.

Dual Battery System

The Merger LRF XL50 is powered by two rechargeable batteries: one is built-in with a capacity of 4 Ah and the other is replaceable with a capacity of 3.2 Ah. A simple charge ensures long battery life. The texture on the body of the replaceable battery allows for quick and secure replacement of an empty battery with a new one in complete darkness by touch.
