Especially when it is functioning and plugged in, it makes a terrible noise. We are forced to constantly worry about charging the batteries while the child is awake so that we can use it independently when needed. Otherwise, we have to place it on a blanket to isolate the interference, which significantly reduces the sound performance.

If you consider that for the same price you can buy a Philips Avent with a system that has no interference at all, it is not worth the purchase.

The main positive thing is that Chicco, as an old and reliable company, sent us new batteries when we requested a second set for the baby unit, because (another major drawback) the batteries it uses are not available in the market and the packaging only included one set for the parent unit.

Perfect! It catches everything, rarely gets parasites, very convenient, light, small, I always take it with me when I travel, and at an excellent price!

2 years after purchase, and waiting for the second child, unfortunately it broke on us. The contact where the plug for the charger goes stopped working, so I can't charge it or use it on electricity. The only way to use it is with one-time use batteries, which is not convenient at all.
