Description

The FF906 Advant by LS2 is a modular helmet, that is, a combination of full-face and jet helmet. It has a mechanism that opens the front part of the helmet and turns it from full-face to jet. It is easy to wear and safer than a jet helmet, but it is considered less safe compared to a full-face as it breaks into two parts. During driving, the front part of the helmet should remain closed. It is made of thermoplastic, a reinforced hard material of high strength. It fastens with a microlock, which allows you to fasten it easily and quickly. The helmet has the new European safety certification "ECE 22.06", which ensures that the helmet is tested at 18 impact control points instead of 6 as before. It is pinlock ready, which means that there is the possibility of installing an additional accessory for the visor that helps to prevent fogging during the winter months. The anti-fog film is not included in the package. Additionally, it features a sun visor, which is an internal sunshade film, like glass, for protection from the sun.

    Very good helmet, very convenient the 180º opening it has. Although I have full face helmets, I do not change the convenience of the opening ones. The helmet does not have noise for me (but I am fully covered by the motorcycle windshield, so I do not know how much difference it can make in a naked one). Also, the weight (+-1650gr medium) is not felt both in the closed and in the open position, it is very well balanced. What impressed me a lot in this particular one, are the air vents. Finally, a helmet where you open the air vents and you can feel the air entering the helmet strongly! I will come back for any updates.

    The overall appearance shows a good helmet, but the noise during the journey is quite intense above 90km/h, I would say it is tiring above 120. Of course, it is an open-face helmet... Practical in the city due to the "chin" that rotates 180 degrees (good weight distribution).
