Although I was a fan of TOSHIBA in general, I was disappointed with the purchase of the Toshiba TV 50" UHD (50UA2263DG). Not at all flexible menu and settings, and the remote control is not user-friendly due to small buttons and it is slow or doesn't respond at all. What a pity!

I bought it for the living room (50-inch) to replace a 20-year-old LG. I bought it from Germanos on sale for 269 euros. The TV is amazing for the price, I have no complaints. It has a nice menu, nice picture, and very good and powerful sound. If you are a simple user who wants to watch TV and Netflix, I don't think there is a better option for the price. Now that we're talking, there shouldn't even be a 50-inch TV at this price. It doesn't have a slow menu, nor a problem with viewing angles.
Now the others who are directors, they should buy a TV for 2000 euros.
The only negative is that it has a very sensitive screen. It requires attention, but I think that's how all screens are.
Now as for how long it will last, time will tell.

The sound, which they advertise as Onkyo, is something the company should be ashamed of. It is loud but completely terrible, like speakers from a 1990s TV.
The menu is very slow and cumbersome. A 4-core Cortex with 1.5GB RAM, how can it handle Android 11? It takes a long time to load apps and it frustrates you just to watch a movie on Netflix.
The Voice Assistant they advertise in capital letters on their website, on the box, in the specs everywhere, simply does not exist! The remote control doesn't even have a microphone, it's IR! Clearly misleading advertising! I contacted the company and I'm still waiting for an official response after 10 days, as if I asked them about the theory of the universe.
The plastic parts are terrible. The whole TV creaks no matter how carefully you handle it. After two people held it just to hang it on the stand, we thought it would break in our hands. And the panel is very fragile. It already has a scratch from wiping it with a soft cloth for such use...
Overall, if you can't afford something a bit more high-quality, okay, it will do the job somehow, but don't expect much. For smart functions and especially if you want voice control, you will need a TV Box, so you will end up close to the price of a better competitive TV unless you find this one in a very good deal.
