  It is very good compared to the previous ones, and in fact, you don’t need plus to have it. I registered with Blizzard, and when it asked for plus, I pressed circle (O) and it let me choose what difficulty I want. I set it to tier 1.   Blizzard managed to offer us the best chapter of its legendary Action/RPG with Diablo IV, without particularly innovating. It narrates a story in a tremendous way, with a suffocating atmosphere, which takes place in the darkly beautiful world of Sanctuary. Moreover, it combines all of this uniquely with an addictive gameplay that reaches a level of obsession, making you want to complete one more dungeon every time. Its presence at the end of the year, among the contenders for Game of The Year 2023, should be considered a given. Finally, it provides a solid foundation for the content that will be added in the future, so don't be afraid to invest your money in it.

  Blizzard is dead....now its games are not made for gamers but for shareholders..!!
  Beautiful game with a very good story and flawless cut scenes...until there..from there on, the game goes downhill in literally any other aspect..!!
  I don't need to say more, the internet is already full of videos describing this downfall in detail..!!
  The only money that I truly consider wasted for a game after many years and it saddens me immensely that this game is part of a masterpiece series..!!

  Diablo 4, the game that could reignite Blizzard's hopes of being a good company. Unfortunately, it remains mediocre in many aspects, and let's not fool ourselves, it's not like Diablo 2, but unfortunately sometimes worse than Diablo 3!

  Pros:
  - The story handles the lore a bit clumsily (those who are familiar with the game's lore will understand), but it has more depth and coherence than Diablo 3, and the end result leaves you quite satisfied.
  - The music is amazing, with tracks like Kyovashad and By Three They Come giving you chills. The sound design is also on the same level, with each spell and weapon having distinct sounds when used.
  - The visual design is also a positive aspect, selling the desired feeling in certain areas.
  - The variety of weapons adds depth and allows for experimentation with different characters.
  - The voice overs of the characters are very well done.

  Now let's move on to the negatives, which, in my opinion, ruin all the fun.

  Cons:
  - The game is exclusively online, and without a stable connection, the experience is lacking.
  - The multiplayer, although there to help (you can do raids with other players), falls into the trap of requiring PS Plus. What do I mean? Without PS Plus, the game loses one of its main features, as it doesn't allow you to play with others.
  - The endgame is mediocre. While it seemed like they were trying to do something more compared to Diablo 3 by building on the paragon system, they managed to do something unbelievably bad. The max level is 100, and to reach it, one must either (i) play close to 150 hours (with just one class) or (ii) endlessly grind specific areas of the map that give a lot of XP. This is prohibitive and discouraging for someone who doesn't have the time or inclination to do either of the above.
  - The price is disappointing, as the game offers less than what one would expect (referring to the fact that the "real gameplay" starts after the end of the campaign, which is plagued by the aforementioned issues).

  PS: The game is not bad, just not what everyone expected, so 3.5/5 or 4/5 if certain things don't bother you. Maybe if the price drops to $40-50, it would be worth it, but the Diablo name alone serves as advertising, so it will take some time for that to happen.

  As a Diablo fan since 1997, I approached it with reservation due to Diablo 3 which, for me, was somewhat... (I won't say it publicly).
  Diablo 4 is a worthy successor to Diablo 2. The graphics are as they should be for the era, the skills, equipment, and gameplay are as fitting for a Diablo game, and even the atmosphere, including the sounds, is the right choice in my opinion that Blizzard could have made.

  The price I gave it is so-so, purely because I consider it overpriced for a game to be worth only 1/5 of the console's value.

  As a game, it is super if you are a fan of this type of RPG.

  Nice gameplay, large map, reminiscent of Elden Ring but in a different form. Clean graphics. Great price for now. Three stars because Blizzard considers us fools and the final boss is Lilith. Diablo is not in the game. It will be added with DLC. Therefore, it is not complete.

  Although I didn't expect to say this after all these years that Blizzard has disappointed me with their titan efforts of patience like "come on, maybe they'll eventually fix the game for the better," I can say, or at least feel, that it might be the GOTY.

  Positives:
  - Very beautiful gameplay that reminds you of the old-school orthodox Diablo 1 and 2. It also gives you a bit of an MMO feeling. A nice combination.
  - On consoles, it offers LAN coop, meaning two people can play on the same TV, just like we used to call it "double." I should note here that you don't need to buy the game twice to play "double." Also, when one of the two players wants to play solo in the future, all their progress is saved normally.
  - Dark music, just the way we all like it in such games, reminiscent of the black plague era.
  - As for gameplay on a controller, I would say it's enjoyable and not as tiring as I would expect. Of course, there is always the option for keyboard and mouse.

  Negatives:
  - I'll start with the price. I understand that it's still early and logical for the price to be sky-high, but I believe that a $50 price tag would have been more tempting, especially since, as I mentioned, it's also coop, so giving a pair of struggling individuals a $25 option would make it easier for them to enjoy the game.
  - Battle pass. Here we spoil things a bit. I'm one of those people who hate anything in games that makes you feel like you're at work and have to complete your 8-hour shift.

  For now, I haven't discovered any other negatives. I will update in the future.

  Very good game, in all levels, faithful to the style and atmosphere of the first games in the series.
  As for the story, it is a well-structured plot, with special interest and twists. The accompanying cutscenes are atmospheric and become more epic as the game progresses. The side quests also have interesting stories, although they do not have accompanying videos.
  The gameplay reminds me of the classic Diablo, although it is adapted to today's standards. Some things may seem a bit strange at first, like the fact that the keys are not used for movement, but they are quickly adapted to.
  The game provides a wide range of activities, beyond the main quest and side quests, so it doesn't get boring. I consider it very important that there are no activities (with very few exceptions, like world bosses) that cannot be done alone. Therefore, even if someone doesn't find a party or their playing hours don't coincide with those of their acquaintances, they can fully enjoy the game.
  As for the items, the drop rate is satisfactory, without becoming excessive, although in the end-game where each player is looking for very specific characteristics, things become a bit more difficult.
  And most importantly, although the game has a store and microtransactions, the items for sale are purely decorative and do not affect how powerful a character is. Therefore, at least for now, the game is not pay to win.
  We are looking forward to seeing what the battle pass will include. In any case, the game is worth even its relatively high price (as in all games nowadays).
  *I don't mention anything about graphics, as I have it on PC, but there is no relevant version on skroutz.gr (obviously because you buy it digitally through the battle net).

  Edit 26/12/23: Unfortunately, the game does not withstand the test of time. As good as the initial storyline was, it becomes boring over time. Endless grinding and once you reach the maximum level, you start from the beginning. The constant changes in character abilities and the incredibly low chance of finding good items became tiring early on.
