Today I received the phone immediately upgraded to android 13 has excellent bright screen excellent sound good cameras not perfect endless battery and acceptable speed at 100 euros there is nothing better. The same day upgraded to Hyper os.
UNACCEPTABLE DEVICE
I have it for less than a year and a few days ago (about 1 week) many things stopped working together.
I explain in detail:
1. From the very first day I got my device, an xiaomi security update came which my device never installed. It said it needed a RAM memory upgrade. The service told me I would have to wait a few days for Xiaomi systems to be informed that the device is working. It's been almost a while and the "available update" still exists, without being able to be installed on my phone.
2. The sim cards stopped working. I tried the sims on other phones and they work perfectly. I tried other sims from other phones on my device and NONE of them work.
3. Due to the above, it is obvious that my data is also not working.
3. Just yesterday (26/1/2024) during startup it got stuck in fastboot mode and took more than 15-20 minutes to start the device.
I called Xiaomi's service and they told me that from the day they receive it, it will take at least ten working days to respond or fix it.
It is a very good mobile phone for its price, it has many features that you won't find in a basic mobile phone at this price.
It seemed like a good choice for a low cost 5g phone but battery life is quite low and it is sometimes 'sticky' when browsing or exchanging WhatsApp messages
Awesome. The only negative thing I find is that it doesn't update. In calls, I can hear and be heard clearly, the battery lasts 5-7 days and it doesn't freeze at all. I don't know what happens with NFC, as I don't use it, and I also don't play games. For the use I want it for, I don't think there is anything better. As for 5G, unfortunately, I can't use it because my provider doesn't have it in my area.
The phone is garbage, it doesn't receive updates.
The camera is terrible, it's not even 5mp, it's something else.
Also, it gave me signal issues, it doesn't catch
Much lower than expected. Quite slower than I expected. Average sound, average picture. On the positive side, the battery life is good.
To perform the latest update, it must be done from a computer, so wherever you get it from, if they have a service, ask them to perform the update process for you! It has 5G, NFC, fast charging, etc. It also comes with a plastic case, at a good price, but to be honest, I would give something more to get something better in the end.
The phone cannot install the new MIUI O.T.A. In other words, it cannot be upgraded. After installation and restarting the phone, it puts me back to the old MIUI and displays a message of installation failure. It should be noted that the phone is brand new and works normally otherwise.
After intensive use for a month, I can say that it is a very good phone for its price. It has decent cameras, a satisfactory battery, and works quickly, but the pre-installed apps and folders have many advertisements for apps and games from the play store. The 5G internet works flawlessly and very fast, and I measured speeds of up to 140 mbps with the cosmote connection. The Wi-Fi works perfectly on both bands (2.4GHz & 5GHz), is fast, and has good reception. The screen is very bright and clear from various angles. The package includes a gel protective cover for the back, and it has a protective cover for the screen that is not very hard and is easily marked. It needs a better quality gorilla glass type protective glass. It seems resistant to falls as it fell two or three times on tiles and nothing happened. When using it as a remote control for the TV, it needs to be perfectly aligned for the TV to pick up the phone's infrared signal. I cannot comment on the NFC as I have not set it up yet and have not used it. When using the phone and charging it at the same time, it does not overheat excessively. As for charging the phone, it takes a reasonable amount of time, and with the fast charger, it charges a little faster than the regular charger. I highly recommend the phone for the price I bought it for, 165 euros.
It is worth buying for the money it costs. For simple mobile use without high demands from a smartphone, I highly recommend it.
