Former owner of AirPods 2nd gen, which still work after 3 years of continuous and daily use (office, car, gym, etc.) with the only serious reason for replacement being the decrease in their battery life due to aging.
A week ago, I purchased 2 pairs of AirPods 3rd gen with the charging case via cable. The major difference from the previous model is the spatial sound (meaning the sound comes differently as you turn your head, like being at a concert or theater) and the approximately 2-hour increase in battery life for the headphones.
As for sweat and water resistance, the same probably applied to the previous model when they unfortunately went into the washing machine and continued to work perfectly.
I also noticed a slight (about 5-10%) increase in their power, meaning at maximum volume, I couldn't handle it, while the previous ones played at maximum volume for a long time and I got used to them in crowded and noisy situations, like the gym.
In terms of appearance and stability in the ear, completely subjectively, I consider the previous ones more elegant and stable in my ear. With the new ones, during intense running and some sweating, I had the feeling that they would fall out and I had to push them in, something that I never felt with the previous ones even after running many kilometers!
Last but equally important, the "Find" function (for the case and headphones) has been greatly improved. I have already used it 2-3 times in a week and it worked perfectly. With the 2nd gen, this function had a big issue and only worked if the headphones had been used, essentially storing the last location used (which was very good for their time).
I will come back with more experience or if I encounter any problems.
[Definitely, if you are deciding between buying AirPods 2nd gen and AirPods 3rd gen, choose the AirPods 3rd gen because they are more modern, with a better sound processor that supports Dolby Atmos and "spatial sound" (wonderful), and obviously with a longer battery life!
Apple products are built to last and have resale value for those who are interested, so it's better to spend an extra 30-50€ on a tool that you will have for at least 3 years, rather than choosing the older model. Undoubtedly, whatever you choose will leave you extremely satisfied.]
P.S. I completely forgot to comment on the microphone quality, proximity sensors, and head angle detection... they all work perfectly, crystal clear, and the sensors respond at lightning speed.
The authenticity of the product is questionable. As soon as I connected them to my phone, it said the coverage expired with no warranty;;;;;
Daily use, although concerned by the comments I had read. They fit well in my ears, comfortable, good sound quality, very good battery.
The best purchase I have made. Incredible difference from my previous headphones. I use them for music and corporate meetings and they have not presented any problems. The best feature is the battery life. It is an investment worth in the long run.
I don't know what you're doing wrong for it to fall out of your ear, just put it in the right angle and it won't fall. I was very skeptical about these headphones but they work perfectly, perfect sound, good microphone and very good quality for everyday and regular use, it's perfect! Very satisfied!! (Also if you're wondering, yes it includes a charging cable like all Apple products)
Problem with automatic sound transfer from smartphone to TV and vice versa. You have to do it manually (with the old red MI buds 5 pro it still happens automatically). Unacceptable for this specific level.
For me, something more reliable than these headphones does not exist on the market. Yes, they slip but find me at least 1 other headphone that will take as many falls as this one has taken and will continue to work tirelessly. Probably doesn't exist. Irreplaceable at least 5/5.
Great headphones. The only thing that concerned me, but definitely couldn't not give 5 stars, is that when you take the headphones out of the charging case, they slip a little but overall everything is ok
Do not make the same mistake as me. Before buying them, try them out from a friend. While their sound is noticeably better than the previous ones, the way they fit in the ear is really terrible. I constantly have the feeling that they will fall out. Really bad product design.
The 2nd generation AirPods are a much more cost-effective choice because they are more affordable and do not lack in any way. The 3rd generation, on the other hand, are difficult to use when it comes to putting them in and taking them out of the case, they are bulky and can cause ear pain, they face the same connectivity issues as the 2nd generation, and if they excel in any aspect, it might be in battery life.

For their money, the worst thing. 2 times with a problem, one the microphone was replaced and now with the volume of the sound. At the same time, with the 1-year warranty in combination with the cost of purchase, stay away and get something else
Impressed with the sound initially. After a few months of use, the left earphone stopped connecting and didn't even appear in the settings (iPhone) where the battery status of the case and both earphones is normally displayed. After many hard resets and cleaning, it connected again, but it has happened to me 2-3 times more. Unacceptable for such an expensive product and without having dropped it or suffered any further damage. Of course, it happened when it was already out of warranty, so I haven't looked into it further. It seems to be a common issue after doing some research on Google. I will probably go back to Sony.
I bought them because I have an iPhone!!! They are excellent. I wish they had a little more bass. Also, you don't feel like you're wearing them and they don't bother you as they are very lightweight. I highly recommend them to users who have an Apple device
Overpriced headphones with terrible support from Apple.
For the second time, after the Airpods2 that broke in the same way, I bought these third-generation ones.
Again, the same thing happened, around one year exactly after the warranty expired, and this time, 5 days before the warranty ended, the same thing: poor connection and different battery percentage in each earbud, even though I took them out of the case at the same time.
This time I was abroad, so I took them to Apple where they told me they noted the problem and I could have them repaired by Christmas. Unfortunately, the employee not only failed to note that I came before the end of the warranty, but in another appointment, I found out that I had to pay an additional 89€ since Apple would only give me one as a gift, as both of them are defective!
Of course, I considered this a big joke and I will throw both of them away, as spending a total of 400€ in two years for such a terrible device and support from the company, in my opinion, is not worth it!
Stay away from these, it's a waste of money!
Very happy with the product! Sound is great, it fits well even though I have got freakishly small ears and the battery life is very very satisfying. It hurts my ears a little when I wear it for long but I haven’t yet found a piece of equipment that doesn’t hurt my ears after a few hours so I don’t mind it really. I use it to run outside and I am super happy with them.
By far the best headphones I have ever used! Amazing sound quality, especially the spatial audio, it's unbelievable! I have to say that I read negative comments about the sound quality, which is obviously not true. It definitely connects well with the iPhone (I assume that the users who made negative comments probably connected them with an Android or listened to a low-quality sound on YouTube). If you want to experience the real quality, try Apple Music, it has better sound than Spotify. (I've had Spotify premium for 3 years, or rather I had it until I realized the difference with Apple Music... it's striking!) I wear the headphones all day, either one or both, they fit comfortably and don't press on the ear. (Of course, this always depends on the shape of your ear, so I would recommend trying them from someone if possible before spending €180.) I've had them for two weeks and I listen to music every day, the battery is quite satisfactory, the case provides about 4 full charges for the headphones, which charge quickly inside the case. In short, you never run out! The connection with the phone is immediate, meaning you can have them in the case without being connected, and when someone calls you, you open the case, put one in your ear, and answer! It's that quick. Absolutely satisfied so far
I had the 2nd Generation until my dog ate one and I decided to switch to these. And I regretted it. They are bulkier than the previous ones, not suitable for long-term use, they don't fit well and they have fallen everywhere, while their microphone is not clear. I could have gotten something much better for much less money.

Okay, classic Apple, you get what you pay for.. while the left one fits perfectly in the ear, the right one keeps falling out.. but other than that.. quality with perfect sound.... *in the end, in order for the headphones to fit well, you have to find the way for your ear. Also, the spatial audio is AMAZING!!
These specific headphones rightfully hold the title of the best Bluetooth headphones on the market. This is reinforced by two more reasons.
a) If you have an iPhone device
b) If, like me, you cannot wear headphones with suction cups that go into the brain, then you are forced to buy these.
The previous headphones I had were Apple's earphones. Classic wired earbud headphones from Apple. These headphones fit very well in my ears and I got used to them within half an hour.
Connectivity: Immediate without any problems. I have not encountered any issues yet. I leave my phone on the desk and move around at a distance of 20-25 meters and I do not face any problems.
Sound: The sound is not super wow, but it is simply satisfactory. If you are an audiophile, it is better to look at another company. It lacks in bass and in full highs. As for volume, the sound is quite satisfactory.
Price: The price is obviously steep, but in the end, you are buying a complete product as it should be and at the same time, you are buying the uniqueness of this type of earbud headphones.
UPDATE 06/8/23: The headphones continue to work flawlessly. I will only mention that due to the summer, if your ears sweat, it would be good not to make too many sudden movements as they may slip and fall out of your ears.
I bought them knowing that they might not fit well since I had both previous generations 1&2. As soon as I put them on, I was shocked... I thought I made a mistake because I was used to the previous ones and felt that they were bulky. I left them for two days to get used to them. Eventually, I realized that I made a mistake trying to put them on like the previous ones. What I changed is that now when I place them, I turn them a little (the body of the microphone to be more horizontal and not vertical like I used to put the old ones). Today, on the fourth day of owning them, as soon as I put them on, I feel that they fit perfectly. As an owner of the old generations since 2015, I was used to the old ones but I think these fit just as well. Maybe what bothers me more is the fact that as soon as I open the case to take them out, I can't take them out because they slip. As for the sound, it is better than the gen 2 with more bass. I don't have an opinion on the battery yet. I will check them more and update.
Update: There is a way to easily remove the earphone. You press from the inside towards the outer edge (as if you want to twist it) and it comes out very easily.
They haven't disabled external noise during calls, resulting in chaos when speaking outdoors or in a moderately noisy environment, and causing your conversation partner to become tired from hearing all the external noise. When speaking on the phone, nothing can be heard. It's fine for music, but there are better options for 100€! Three stars are too many because you use hands-free to talk and spend a lot of money for nothing. Get something more economical if you don't care about the conversation. I have them connected to an iPhone 12, so there can be no insignificance. I've tried all the settings, but nothing changes with external noise during calls.
Because I was tired of buying headphones for everyday use (mostly for talking) and having connectivity issues, I decided to get the AirPods. I had never purchased them before and they are my first pair. I really like how comfortable they are in my ears! They don't tire me at all and fit well. What I think I should mention is about the music. If you want them to listen to music with detail, I don't think they're worth the money. The 1more wired ones I have, I consider them much better and cheaper! Maybe the AirPods 2 due to their price and for simple speech use would be a better choice for connecting with the iPhone. The 3 stars may be few, the 4 many.
I mainly use them for speaking. I was concerned if they would stay in my ears and not fall out because I move quickly many times, but they seem quite stable at least in my ears. A big advantage is that you don't run out of battery because you clip them in the case and they charge very quickly. I give them 4 stars for the price. Let's face it, they're not cheap for headphones. If someone is not concerned about the cost, I recommend them with closed eyes.
The headphones have good and very powerful sound, everything works perfectly without any problem, however the only "issue" is when someone calls you and you put on the headphones and lift it up, there is a 2-3 second gap where neither you nor the caller can hear each other, something like a bug but it doesn't happen all the time. The battery lasts quite a bit on the headphones, definitely not as much as advertised and the case generally feels like it discharges faster than it should even when I'm not using them, possibly due to all the systems that are integrated consuming quite a bit of energy. Very important is that the design is such that they simply rest on the ear and don't press on it, also they don't have any rubber resulting in air and sound passing through the environment which is what I need for the office where I want to hear what's happening around me. They don't collect any wax, overall very good quality and ergonomics, regarding the price I don't know if it's worth the money but for me it's what I was looking for regardless of the money due to the easy connection with the iPhone.

Unacceptable headphones for their price. I have replaced them three times with new ones and now they tell me that the warranty only applies to the first headphones I bought and not to the ones they gave me as a replacement three months ago, resulting in the warranty not being valid for a product they gave me three months ago!!!!!! Terrible sound quality where the speaker was barely audible in all three headphones.
Many headphones have passed through my hands, but these are by far the best. The sound is awesome with plenty of powerful bass. The design, although simple, is unbeatable and the battery life is satisfactory. However, I have to say that they are not worth their money for Android phones. On iPhones, though, the connectivity is magical. I was surprised that even though I was on my bike and Siri was making noise, she heard the command to lower the volume that I gave. 9/10.
