!!NOTE THAT IT IS NOT MADE TO RUN GAMES!!
!!HERE I TAKE INTO ACCOUNT THE PRICE IT HAS AND I DO NOT APPRECIATE IT AS A 2K LAPTOP!!

This little laptop is from MSI's business category. It has a small battery, but it is saved by the CPU, the amazing Intel i5 1235U with 10 cores and very low power consumption. The processor is great for its low power consumption but also for its performance when needed. Being from the 12th generation, it is snappy and has good single-core performance, especially for a laptop. On the other hand, 16GB of RAM is sufficient for most tasks except heavy video editing, as I can easily multitask. Personally, I use it for coding and I have never had a problem with the RAM, even with 10-15 Google tabs open. I have also run some games on it, and games like Minecraft, Genshin Impact, Hollow Knight, and other low-spec hardware games are playable. The Iris Xe graphics are not bad as integrated graphics and do a good job. However, because it is not designed for heavy games like Trackmania, if there is no cooler underneath to help it, after a while the FPS drop dramatically because it is not designed to continuously run the GPU or CPU at 100%. As I mentioned before, it is quite snappy and the keyboard is very satisfactory for people who type for hours. The touchpad is good for its price, and many times I prefer it over a regular mouse because it has different shortcuts due to Windows 11, such as two-finger scrolling and others. The USB-C power delivery works, but it should be noted that it limits the CPU in order to charge the battery. You don't notice the limit because it is in the CPU's GHz, and you have to run benchmarks to notice it. Then there is the MSI software, MSI Center Pro, which allows you to adjust the fan and has different modes such as high performance, balanced, silent, and super battery. I mostly use the super battery mode because the CPU doesn't need the boost to 4.4GHz for the 2 performance cores (note that the i5-1235u has good power efficiency because it has 8 ecores and 2P cores, where the 2P cores have multithreading, making it 10c/12t). The high-performance mode is an all-out turbo fan, although it also has the cooler freeze, which puts the fan at 100%. Overall,

    CPU:
snappy and powerful, with good power efficiency that balances the laptop's small battery

    RAM:
sufficient for everything except video editing, even for running 3 Virtual Box instances together

    GPU:
good for integrated graphics, can run games but don't rely on playing heavy games on this laptop, as my 40FPS, which I consider playable, may be unplayable for others, and they may experience visuals like I do on PS4 and Xbox One, which have a 30FPS cap in many games and strain my eyes because I consider it a bad experience.

    Display:
It is a decent IPS display, but it has poor color output for people who need image processing and such, but for the average user or programmer, it is more than satisfactory.

    Keyboard and touchpad:
Satisfactory with white backlight. It has a good feeling, and even though I usually type with mechanical keyboards with blue switches, I have no problem with the experience it provides. The touchpad is in a similar state.

    Software:
Satisfactory, I use it and it does its job very well.

    Ports:
Ports are important for 2023 as laptops have fewer and fewer as time goes on. Here we have an HDMI that supports up to 1080p 120hz, a USB-C with Power Delivery which is also used for alternative charging, a USB 3.2 and two USB 2.0 ports, and a micro-SD reader which is useful for people dealing with Raspberry Pi, 3D printers, and other similar devices like me. Then it has the power adapter for the regular charger and a headphone jack which I haven't used, so I haven't tested if the advertised audio feature for this MSI laptop works.

    Conclusion:
I would recommend this laptop to students who do coding and general use, as it is lightweight, powerful, and can be charged with a USB-C (many may not realize how good this is, but it saves weight from your back because you only need one charger for your phone, laptop, and tablet). And I would recommend it to people who want a good laptop. I have had it for 6-7 months now and it works amazingly, if anything happens or if I find something that bothers me, I will update.
