I have had it for 5 months, it is very fast and reliable. I have put it in a PS4 Slim and I have seen a significant difference. I highly recommend it without hesitation.
Purchased for the Lenovo Ideapad 330 laptop. The machine (i5-7500-20GB ram), in combination with a new hard drive and fresh installation of win10, flies!!!! It opens in 3 seconds and is very fast in office applications. I don't have a particularly good opinion of the idol creation program for another hard drive. It seemed rigid and difficult to use, so luckily I ended up with a fresh installation of win10, which is the best choice for a new hard drive. Highly recommended (purchase at 48€)! As it approaches and exceeds 70€, I would probably buy Samsung.
It broke down after a fresh installation of Windows, I couldn't even format it and the whole PC was freezing. I got Kingston and now I'm all good!
I revived a laptop from 2008 with a dual-core Pentium. In combination with a lite version of Windows that exists, it extends the life of old "slow" laptops. I highly recommend it
For a mid-range system intended for everyday office browsing and light gaming, it is excellent, especially at a price below €35 (500gb) which you can now find it.
I return with some additional comments about speed. The 1TB that I use on my desktop as the main disk is ultimately frustratingly slow in writing - in reading it is perfect, about 500MB/s, but in writing it barely reaches 15MB/s (!) when the Samsung 860EVO reaches over 300MB/s... You get what you pay for, but for an operating disk, the difference is evident, especially in specific programs with many writings (e.g. FreeCAD). However, it remains excellent for a storage and reading disk.
I have four 250GB and 1TB for professional use in Linux systems for about 2 years and I have not encountered any problems, with easy installation and reliable operation. The speed compared to others may be lower, but in office use it is impossible to notice. Definitely, however, it is day and night compared to any traditional disk. For their price, they are a very good choice.
It was installed on a 2015 iMac and took it out of the drawer of useless objects. It is not one of the fastest on the market, but the 500GB usually covers it in terms of read-write (except for the moments I uploaded!). The iMac has been unexpectedly fast and satisfactory so far. I will come back after some time on the machine.
It was installed on a PC used for processor/sales work. Its usage is daily for the past two months. With many reads/writes and there has been no decrease in performance at least for this 2-month period it has been used.
Tragic purchase. Using simple DJ applications on a MacBook Pro 13, it broke down within two months.

I have replaced the hard drives on all of my computers. A 7-year-old desktop, a 10-year-old laptop, and even the server running omv are using them. I have been using them for over 2 years and have not noticed any decrease in performance.

Very good and high-quality disk! I put it in a setup with a Q6600 LGA775 socket CPU and various materials, and it works perfectly!
Flawless without any issues so far! Upgraded, along with RAM memory, it's now a decade-old computer and it's very fast.
Much faster SSD than I expected for a budget purchase. I have installed it in an external enclosure for a 2.5" hard drive and it works great for fast file transfer.
This is the second tough one for my games, the first one is a 980 Samsung, I really have no words
I have had the SSD since 18/11/2022. I installed it on my main laptop (Dell Inspiron 5559) which I use for watching movies and YouTube, as well as school work with a lot of coding.
*It was not a clone but a clean installation of Windows.
The replacement was really easy on a hardware level. During the installation of Windows 10, I struggled because the bootable USB had an older version of Windows 10, so I downloaded it again and the installation was done directly.
Differences from the old HDD:
1) The time to enter Windows has been greatly reduced.
2) The opening time of an application (e.g. Google Chrome) has been dramatically reduced.
3) The programs I write in code run much faster.
4) The laptop battery doesn't drain as quickly.
5) Shutdown now happens instantly.
I don't remember the exact times now, but before it took anywhere from 1 to 4 minutes to complete a task, and now the same tasks take at most 5 seconds.
As for the program that comes with the disk, I have no opinion as I did not use it.
Overall, I am quite satisfied. If any issues arise in the future, I will report them and if I have fixed them, I will tell you the way it worked for me.
I couldn't believe that we would reach a point where we could buy a 250GB SSD disk for 20 euros. It's very fast and considering its price, it's worth it.
I bought 3 of the 1TB, one for games, another for videos that I store to edit, and the third one about a year later (after having positive impressions) as a basic for my second laptop. Overall and compared to the Samsung EVOs I have for the same tasks, it's a decent and very cheap drive. I don't know if I would trust it as a primary drive since I don't use my second laptop much, but for its price it works wonders. Obviously, it doesn't compare to the Samsung M.2s I have as primary drives, but for the job I need them for, they're perfect. So far, I haven't had any problems and my 10-year-old second laptop, which my wife mainly uses, runs smoothly.
Perhaps one of the best things I have ever purchased in my life is the hard drive of my computer, which I use daily for several hours for 3 years now and it still works perfectly

It's better if you can spend a little more money and get something reliable.
A significant drawback is that the writing speed decreases during file transfer and returns to normal (around 400MB/s) for a short period of time before dropping again to 30-40MB/s. However, the reading speed remains constant throughout
It operates from 13/1/22 on an ASRock B360M-HDV motherboard. It is a copy (CLONE). I have given it a primary partition of 201 GB where the operating system (Win10prox64) is located in .VHD format and 22.30 GB of unformatted space. The remaining GBs were allocated to the wonderful (web) Crucial Storage Executive management software that we downloaded.
After carefully setting up Windows to only do what is necessary on our disk, we set up the software and leave the PC quiet for 1-2 hours once a week to do its job (maintenance).
I don't know when it will suddenly stop working, but I can't believe my eyes... and I present the images from two measurements with different versions of the CrystalDiskMark measurement program that "ran" from another HD!
The given specifications for write speed are Read Speed 540 MB/s and Write Speed 500 MB/s. It is possible that there is an error. I will buy the same one because it probably broke... the images cannot be explained otherwise.
P.S: I forgot to mention that the size of the .VHD is 102GB.
Revived a decade-old laptop. I've been using it for 2 years with demanding tasks and it runs like the first day. So far, I haven't encountered any problems. It doesn't have crazy speeds, so the difference with an HDD is negligible. For small budget builds and upgrading an old laptop, it's the best option. I would definitely buy it again. I highly recommend it.
For use on Raspberry (Batocera games emulation distro) to store ROMs. I wanted high speed and lower power consumption compared to mechanical, the mechanical one I had before had a problem with the Raspberry, the currents were not enough. This one is just what I need.
I have it installed on my laptop for over 2 years now and I have no complaints. It's affordable, quite fast, and so far very reliable. For a cheap upgrade, it's just what you need.
I have installed it on 2 10-year-old laptops and both are running smoothly and quickly without any issues so far.
