Without having experience with many microwaves, it is definitely better than the two previous LG ones I had. It heats up quickly but the lighting is not very helpful.

The only downside is that I ordered stainless steel and it came black...
I don't change microwaves by the bunch. So I can't make a comparison. It does its job just fine. It is of good quality construction and has a nice color. Only time will tell about its durability.
