I have always been fascinated by the stories behind the camera. Since I was a child, climbing the walls of the neighborhood's outdoor cinema, to this day when my good luck brought me close to all these mythical actors, who - like other storytellers - told me their backstage "exploits", sometimes vivid and charming, and sometimes touching and tearful. What wonderful narratives, and what unforgettable nights I spent with all these mythical actors, who were part of my own dream!

Behind the bright lights, microphones, clappers, and cameras, another "film" was playing, perhaps more real, more human, and certainly more entertaining. So, I wanted to record these little backstage scenes in this specific book and tell you the stories just as I heard them from the protagonists themselves, who whispered them to each other and had a lot of fun with them.

On the following pages, we will delve into the secrets of our own Hollywood backstage and mentally transport ourselves to all those historic studios and sets, meeting familiar beloved faces, simply, everyday, without costumes, lights, and makeup, just before they transform from ordinary mortals into glamorous mythical figures.
