The format of this sacred book was established, as known, by the monk Bartholomew of Kutlumousi from Imbros in the year 1832, through its correction and division into three parts, with the approval of the Great Church of Christ. The edition by the renowned Bartholomew has since become the basis for all other editions of the Horologion.
