Purchased for 170 euros for a bedroom in a village cottage. It is an ANDROID TV. Satisfactory functions and applications (Netflix, CosmoteTV, EON), but slow response and therefore a bit annoying to use. Relatively easy menu, inferior picture compared to similar category, but tolerable. The sound could have been much better. Overall, for a cottage where it operates occasionally, it is sufficient. It could have been 20 euros cheaper...

Did you find this review helpful? It is a simple Android TV (not Google TV) with a mediocre CPU and minimal RAM. The speaker is powerful, but I have connected it via Bluetooth to a JBL speaker that I have, and it is perfect. However, I did have some issues with Bluetooth connectivity, but I feel that it is not the fault of the TV itself, but rather the Android TV software, which is terrible on all devices except for Google TV. If you see it on sale, go for it, otherwise I would recommend getting a TV with better screen or sound specs and a Chromecast with Google TV. That's as a TV. Now, as a "Smart TV," apart from not having Google TV, it's a good little device. I have a VPN connected 24/7, and if you only want to use YouTube, Netflix, Spotify, Disney+, HBO Max, and maybe Kodi, it works very well. It rarely lags, unless you start pushing it too hard. Nevertheless, it's not much different from a Mi TV Box, for example. However, let it be known that it may have Google Assistant, but it does not have a microphone, and it definitely does not accept a Bluetooth microphone. It also does not have the remote control because it is IR, so if you get it, don't shout "Play Kitchen Nightmares on YouTube" for no reason, it won't hear you. However, with the Google TV app, if you go to the remote control and press the Google Assistant icon, it works normally from the microphone of your phone.
As a screen, I use it for light gaming from my laptop, and it's not bad. There is no noticeable delay, at least not an obvious one. If I wanted a second screen for a desktop setup and happened to want 32 inches, I wouldn't have a problem having this one.
4 stars because Hitachi doesn't care about this device and literally hasn't optimized the software at all. But if you just want to watch TV, watch some YouTube videos, play a few games, it's fine
