Description

The player is drawn into the world of Dead Island on the brink of a mysterious epidemic that suddenly and without warning breaks out on the fantastic island of Banoi. As a guest at the Royal Palms Resort, the player's stay was supposed to be a dream vacation, a luxurious getaway on the beautiful beaches of a tropical paradise.

But faced with the reality of a zombie revelation, there is only one thing to do: Survive. This is Dead Island, a paradise you must die for. The Island of Banoi: If you have ever dreamed of paradise, we know a place where you can make those dreams a reality. The island of Banoi. Just off the coast of Papua New Guinea, located south of the Equator and just north of Australia.

Until very recently, much of the island was wild and primitive, untouched by the modern world. Although the capital, Moresby, was founded by Australian colonists in 1895, many parts deep in the interior have never seen the western eye. The rich tropical beauty of Banoi offers many natural wonders: from lush tropical forests to mountain plateaus to pristine beaches with white sand. Take a diving tour and experience the wonder of coral reefs combined with life.

Walk in the mountains or explore the extensive network of mysterious caves in Banoi. Along the way, you will encounter all kinds of rare birds, butterflies, fish, reptiles, and mammals, including the large apes in the Banoi highlands. It is a paradise for athletes with world-class climbing, fishing, hunting, sailing, and kayaking. Or if that sounds too challenging, find a private beach, dive into the waves, and enjoy the sun. Get to know the friendly people of Banoi. They are proud of their rich cultural heritage. Indigenous art is world-renowned and incredibly diverse, reflecting the many local tribes with their own myths, legends, and language. Come see what Paradise on Earth looks like. Come to beautiful Banoi. The pearl in the necklace of the Oceania Archipelago.

Strange for my taste choice and I chose it almost randomly, having in mind that I will try it once and then remove it. Although I am not a fan of zombies. And yet, it is beautiful, it has a good gameplay, the graphics when the zombie grabs you and its image literally comes to your face (since it is first-person) are quite impressive. It has a huge map, many side quests, some repetitive ones to gain XP or money. It is limited to mainly melee battles, where you use whatever you find in front of you (clubs, brooms, some knives you find). However, your weapons break easily, the stamina management has tired me a lot. The game may not be the game of the year, but it offers some enjoyable hours of literally decapitating zombies and endless blood. (I love the sound when a corpse has decayed and has flies on top of it). Sometimes, however, when a zombie falls down near an object, they disappear or get stuck in it. It is interesting to me how when a zombie is eating, it is so busy that it doesn't notice you at all.
