The present Dentistry book is a new edition that includes all the modern data related, on the one hand, to local diseases and conditions affecting the stomatognathic area, and on the other hand, to systemic diseases that manifest symptoms and signs in the said area. Specifically, it describes the etiology, epidemiological data, clinical picture, laboratory findings - with particular emphasis on histopathological image -, diagnosis and differential diagnosis, prognosis, therapeutic management, and prevention of the pathological entities that fall within the scientific subject of Dentistry.

The textbook is addressed to undergraduate and postgraduate students of Dentistry and Medicine, general dentists and specialists in Dentistry, Hospital Dentistry, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Diagnostic and Radiology of the mouth, etc. It also concerns specialists in General Medicine as well as doctors of various specialties (dermatologists-aphrodisiologists, otorhinolaryngologists, pathologists, pediatricians, pathoanatomists, etc.). The subject matter is divided into two parts. In the first part entitled "Introduction to Dentistry," all the knowledge necessary to understand and delve into everything mentioned in the second part of the textbook entitled "Clinical Dentistry" is given. The text is simple and comprehensible, enriched with an exceptionally large number of clinical, histopathological, and radiological images and figures, the total of which exceeds 1400 images, which helps the reader understand the text.
