The book "The New Law of Parent-Child Relationships" includes a detailed presentation and article-by-article interpretation of Law 4800/2021 and especially the Civil Code, as amended. 

The new regulations are comprehensively presented for:

• the legal residence of the minor

• the agreement for the minor children in consensual divorce

• the rule of joint and equal exercise of parental custody after the parents' separation and its exceptions

 • the specific issues of custody (decisions on health and education matters, change of the minor's place of residence)

• the communication of the child with the parent and other persons

• the improper exercise of parental custody

Additionally, procedural and timeless legal issues are addressed. The author, a Professor of Civil Law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, was a rapporteur on the issues of exercise of parental custody and communication in the legislative committee of the Ministry of Justice, on the basis of which Law 4800/2021 was drafted, and actively participated in the public scientific dialogue that preceded the law.
