Nice design and construction. Soft strap (you can get another one). Plenty of designs for changing appearance. It counts pulses and steps very well, but the oxygen definitely has a deviation from reality and the stability on the wrist plays a role, and I can't say for sure about the temperature since it measures from the skin and usually shows 32. The battery is very powerful and lasts a long time, a week with a pulse graph and oximeter. If you have an issue with the Huawei My Health app, which measures steps from both the phone and the watch and adds them up, it is good if you want to measure only from the watch (which I prefer), to remove the physical activity from the app's permissions, as shown in the photo.

The main problem is the correct synchronization with the app. Despite all the research and activation of all the settings that Huawei suggests, essentially a permanent app running in the background, a permanent connection, and permanent updates in the background. 4 out of 7 times when it synchronizes after changing the day, after 00:00, the counter of the app does not change even though it resets to zero on the smartwatch, resulting in incorrect measurements being recorded, as shown in the attached photo.
Unacceptable for an app that supports a watch worth 200€. Hence the 4 out of 5 stars I initially gave with the first use.

After contacting Huawei, the installation of the AppGallery and the Health app was extended. With the counter continuously open in the app, the problem has not reappeared.
I bought it a year ago and until now it had a battery life of 7-8 days and overall good performance. Suddenly, the battery life dropped to 1 day and after 15 charges, it doesn't even turn on!
What can I say about this watch... whatever I say is not enough. I have put this body through hell for a year, in mud and water, constantly hitting it against iron, and I thought I broke it over 10 times, but it doesn't understand anything. It's a beast when it comes to battery life, lasting 8-10 days with everything active. I am extremely satisfied. Additionally, the application is very nice, as well as the part with the applications. Finally, I will say well done and a small negative, which for me is not even a negative because I never expected to be able to talk from the watch when I'm on a tractor or machinery. The person I'm talking to can't hear me so clearly, but if you're just at home or somewhere without noise, you can speak normally
Excellent watch. I have been very satisfied with the purchase. Only the heart rate monitoring needs to be turned off in order for the battery to last 10+ days. Very reliable otherwise.
It was purchased at the end of November, connected to the mobile phone via Bluetooth, and since then it hasn't left my hand...
So, for the past 5 months, it records everything I do (heart rate, distance, O2, sleep, etc.)
Its measurements are often incorrect...
In terms of sleep, it definitely doesn't provide accurate measurements that I consider worth evaluating....
And as for blood oxygen saturation, it simply gives random readings... many times it considers me "dead".... (well, now, do pulse oximeters lose accuracy? Will a watch lose it?)
As for heart rate, I believe it misses quite a lot, as I am a long-distance runner and I always had purely running watches that easily capture changes in pace.
For the above, it is very likely that it needs to be worn tightly as the instructions say, and maybe it's my fault for wearing it relatively loosely....
Regarding steps, while it accurately counts during walking, many times when I drive for an hour, it shows that I took 1000 steps.....
I only take it off in the bathroom because I read that someone had strange behavior with the speaker after showering, so I don't want to risk it, even though most of the comments I've seen don't mention such an issue, but you never know.....
The good thing is that you receive messages, emails, and calls without having to constantly check your phone.... like the great convenience of talking from the watch.
A tremendous advantage is its very long battery life!!!!
If you are an athlete, I recommend getting a running watch (Suunto, Garmin) which have been in this sport for years and have many more functions since those watches were made for this purpose....
Overall, it's a very good watch, beautiful with a very good screen, and basic functions.
If you don't want something specialized, I recommend it for its very long battery life, as other watches of the same level don't even have half the duration...
Also, its construction is very good, the price is good, and I also bought a bracelet that really enhances the appearance of the watch!!!!!
The watch for its money is perfect!
With a Huawei phone, I couldn't open the watch and it synced immediately!
For an athlete, it has everything, accurate altimeter measurements, built-in GPS! It sits nicely.
The battery seems to be good.
For now, I have nothing negative to say!
Very nice watch with a variety of free applications, I think it's worth its money. I got it after 2 Samsung Galaxy phones and so far I am very satisfied.
Value for money! The watch does what it promises. Excellent quality in calls, accuracy in measurements.
Its battery is worth every penny, its measurements for its price are quite honest. If you are a professional athlete, obviously you should go for something more expensive. Its heart rate monitor misses 4-6 beats (measured with a polar h2 strap). I have noticed some issues with water and have stopped wearing it in the shower as a precaution. I believe it is worth its money
Every 10 days it loses all its settings and asks for pairing with the mobile phone from the beginning, whatever you have paid until then for skins, etc., you put them where you know. Very bad experience, I will not buy a smart watch again.
I have had it for 1.5 years and suddenly during the heatwave of this year's summer (2023), the battery went from lasting 1 week to only lasting 1 day and not charging quickly. It also got quite hot during charging. After reading various articles about batteries, I realized that heat is their worst enemy, so I did the following: I put the watch in the refrigerator (maintained at 3 degrees Celsius) for 10-15 minutes before charging it, and then I charged it. The charging process became much faster, and by applying this method for 5-6 times, the battery returned to normal and now lasts for a week. Unbelievable, right? I'm sharing this so that you can do the same with watches and mobile phones. Also, ideally after refrigerating, you should charge the device from 10% to 70% (or from 20% to 80%), use it for a few hours, and then charge it up to 90% or 95% (up to 100% only once a month). This way, your batteries will last for more than 2 years, and you will save the expenses and hassle of changing batteries in mobile phones and smartwatches.
In less than 2 years, it has been repaired 4 times. Problem with the battery - major problem with the motherboard. Obviously poor waterproofing
The watch continues the tradition of the legendary GT2. Being an owner of both watches, I can say that the GT3 is clearly better than the GT2. It has a larger useful screen area. The Harmony OS is smoother and has additional features. It has pre-set responses to messages. You can download some (few of course compared to Garmin) applications like calculator and calendar. As for its sports use: 1) it finally has auto pause in running and cycling 2) it has a much better GPS and heart rate recorder 3) You can upload routes 4) It has the route return function. [However, in the last 2 (3 and 4) you only see the "line" of the route without a background map]
10 days after purchasing the watch, it breaks. It doesn't turn on or charge. Instead of replacing it, Huawei just changes the battery. In the second year, luckily still under warranty, the watch breaks again. The battery drains in 3 hours and the watch heats up and shuts down after a system warning. Good communication with Huawei for the repair, but unfortunately 2 malfunctions within 1.5 years is not fair
The watch for its money is the best on the market. Let's start with the positives: It syncs easily with the Huawei Health app. For the usage I give it, the battery has a minimum autonomy of 20 days. In terms of calls, it is fantastic, you can hear and be heard clearly, and you also have the ability to call back in case you missed a call, but not the ability to navigate through the call log and make a call yourself. The heart rate measurements are incredibly accurate, like a blood pressure monitor. The only negative thing I find is the inaccurate step count, mainly because if you are in a car or on a motorcycle and moving relatively slowly, it counts it as steps.
If you don't have crazy demands, it does its job just fine, very beautiful, battery monster. Don't charge it through a PC or another device because it either takes a long time or doesn't charge at all, it needs to be directly plugged into a socket with a "brick" charger
My previous smartwatch was the Xiaomi S1, which eventually gave up on me, so I have this as a comparison. The Huawei is superior in most aspects except for the Bluetooth range. The Xiaomi had almost double the range, and another issue is that when I started walking, for the first 5 minutes it would prompt me to start exercising, but it takes too long for it to do so. The minus 1 star is for the Bluetooth range.
I take it with me in the bathroom and it doesn't get damaged as long as you drain the water at the end, which is an option
From the price-quality ratio, it is perfect. 1+ week battery. I don't rely on it for measurements. It works perfectly with my mobile (Samsung S20)
Unfortunately, wasted money. It easily syncs with all mobile phones. The battery lasts for 10 days and with 1 hour of physical exercise per day, it lasts for seven days. I give it a 7/10 for its measurements because it is not very accurate. Unfortunately, it broke for no reason after two months. I sent it to Huawei and they sent it back repaired. Unfortunately, after another two months, it broke again. It is not worth its money.
After two swims in the sea, it closed and never opened again!! Generally though, it is a good watch. However, this vulnerability of it (not waterproof) is a huge disadvantage!!
Bought it a month ago from a big technology chain, with the first contact with water it turned off and never turned on again. I wouldn't recommend buying it because it is unacceptable that as soon as it comes into contact with water it stops working and then in the service center they play games. Now, as long as I managed to use it, it sits well in the hand, satisfactory speaker for calls and conversations (not so much for music), good Bluetooth range, its measurements are average to good, and finally its battery lasts about a week, maybe a little longer, with everything turned on.
After seven months and with light swimming during the holidays for 4-5 days, not extreme diving and the like, and while before I didn't even put it in the shower. It stopped working, it doesn't turn on...
Bought one year ago. After a simple swim in the sea, it simply stopped working. Sleep measurements are tragic. Its good qualities are well-known but its flaws are insurmountable. Taking into account Huawei's closed software, I am led to the conclusion not to trust this company again.
It is good as long as you don't put it in the sea.
It broke during the summer without me knowing why, I assumed it happened because of the sea, I sent it for repair for a month and the first time after the repair, it broke again in the sea

The only downside is that to synchronize the weather, I have to go inside the application. Everything else is excellent. The calls are clear, the speaker is fine. A plethora of themes. Basic applications like the calendar and calculator are available. It's worth the money. Recently, it also received a firmware update (connected to Pixel 6 Pro).
Very good for someone not very demanding. Beautiful watch with many skins and functions. The battery lasts around 10 days. However, it charges very quickly.
As the owner of this watch for 5 months, I would discourage anyone from getting it. Its measurements are mediocre to poor. However, the worst part is the screen, which, although clear, is made of cheap materials. As a result, after just one month, I noticed the first scratch. And as someone who likes to do things with my hands, I saw several more scratches in the next 3 months. The worst part was when I decided to cut a piece of metal while wearing the watch, and the screen was filled with burns. Now, it's almost useless. It's a good-looking watch, but its material quality is such that you'll leave it aside in a short period of time.
I have had it for less than a week. The choice was made based on a friend's recommendation who has the GT2 and is satisfied with it. I, on the other hand, chose to get its newer version, the GT3. So far, it seems to fully meet the criteria for which I made the choice. These were battery life, heart rate monitoring, step counting, and sleep quality tracking. It does not have NFC for card payments, but personally, I did not want that anyway. It has many free watch faces where someone will surely find something they like. Of course, there are also paid ones.
Let me add my review as well, coming from a Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 and a Ticwatch 3 Pro GPS (previously I also had a Honor Magic Watch and a Huawei GT2e), I have to say that this watch is flawless. I will never go back to an Android watch, I got tired of charging every other day. The GT3 has an incredible battery life and with everything enabled, plus workouts, it easily lasts over 8 days. I don't mind that I can't write messages (as if you can with Android, it's not user-friendly at all), nor the fact that it doesn't have additional apps, who cares what's in the Playstore, it's a fairy tale. It's excellent in everything, screen, build quality, etc. and of course the Huawei Health app is light years ahead of the others, Google, Xiaomi, etc. and of course it maximizes the overall user experience. Huawei with closed eyes.
Compared to its price, it disappointed me. I mainly got it for calls. The speaker sounds like a broken transistor. The contacts from my phone don't sync with the watch. As for health measurements, I have no opinion and I'm not interested. I regret buying it.
