Quite good, only for the quantity and price you buy it. I haven't found anything better. It contains shells and various stones that help the birds, plus it smells fresh.

It is quite strong for what it is intended to do. I put it at a thickness of 2-3 cm at the bottom of a cage, 2 by 2 meters, housing 50 chickens. There is no trace of ammonia smell. Generally, it doesn't smell at all.

In the volume that I use it, it needs to be changed every 3 days. But if it is to be used in a cage with 2-4 parakeets or any other bird, it will definitely last much longer.

You can't do a tougher test on such a product than with small chickens. They really pollute a lot at this stage of their life.

It's worth it!

I highly recommend it. Especially if you want to change the sand frequently for better hygiene of the birds you have indoors. In fact, the canary enjoys pecking at the crushed shells contained in the sand, which is good for him, as far as I know. It has a sweet anise scent that you perceive as soon as you open the package. However, don't expect the room to smell like anise. In my case, when I put a thin layer in the canary cage, you can only smell it if you are next to the cage (which is a good thing). The best combination of quality, quantity, and price.
