One year of use and I am very satisfied with its performance. I haven't seen over 40% utilization anywhere. It has plenty of headroom for high-end GPUs. It works with a 3070ti on an Asus z690 motherboard. It stays cool with an old Kraken x52 in a Corsair x570 case, and temperatures in the summer are 55-60. I don't know if it's worth buying now that the prices of the 13xxx series are dropping, but if you find it at a good price, it's simply reliable.
With his money and a RTX 3060+, he has a very good system. No need for exaggeration. A good water cooling and you're ready for everything. As for integrated graphics, it's better to go for a cheap GPU. Besides, prices are more normal now. Serious people don't deal with integrated graphics for their graphics...
Excellent, for work but also for gaming. In idle or in very low tasks (browsing, office, etc.) it consumes 3-4 watts... I have an SSD that consumes more :)

I don't have much to say, I didn't see a huge difference from before when I had a beast CPU, just the price is a bit steep. They found an excuse in covid and companies that have made profits (nvidia, intel, amd, etc.) are squeezing us, meanwhile in our "normal" jobs we lowered prices due to covid. ~$500 for i7 and ~$2,000 for 3080ti... words are unnecessary.
Very low temperatures in gaming scenarios do not exceed 40c and 60watt on average with stock settings power limit of 180watt, and in idle state it sits between 18 and 20c, and cinebench R23 does not exceed 66c. Idle burns 4watt and the 5900X is 20watt, which I put as a comparison measure because I also have this Ryzen, in a YouTube etc environment, and music is an issue if it reaches 10watt, no relation to what we knew from previous generations of Intel. In addition, the integrated graphics card has 2 chips where in photo processing it does a better and faster job than any gaming card. I have placed it on an MSI Z690 Edge with Artic Liquid Freezer 2 280 and I am very satisfied. I am not a fan boy of any company since I also have the 5900X, but with my eyes closed I would choose the 12700K with DDR4 motherboard at this time.
This particular processor was purchased to replace the i7-4790, which was and still is perfectly fine, but I wanted to expand the system's storage drives and the I/O of this specific technology was limiting for me.
The purchase was made during Christmas and the reasons that led me to buy this particular processor were:
1. The motherboard I purchased supports PCIE 5.0 and accepts up to 5 M.2 memories, so it is future proof.
2. The price of the 12700K made it, and still makes it, quite competitive. Overall, I paid 414 euros to buy it in tray.
3. Its hybrid architecture makes sense and I will explain it below.
As I noticed in Win11, the handling of the cores is better than in Win10, although Win11 still needs work because it is not as stable as the Win10 OS. In idle use, it can draw a minimum of 4W, while for everyday use, moderate tasks, and even gaming, it can consume an average of 50W-80W. In full load, it can of course draw up to 190W and that's where it loses in terms of efficiency in my opinion.
In terms of thermals, I have combined it with an Arctic Freezer 34 eSports Duo. In full load, it will reach an average of 75 degrees, in gaming 60 degrees, while in idle it is usually at 40.
