These are the first AirPods I've purchased. I don't have experience with the previous ones, so I can't make a clear comparison. The reason I went for the AirPods 3 instead of the Pro is mainly because of their design (the rubber ear tips bother me in my ear) and secondly because of the increased battery life.
Now, it's clear why I listen to Apple Music (of course, I won't change Spotify for anything). But the spatial is really mind-blowing!!

Everything is crystal clear in speech. The earpiece and microphone hear you exceptionally well on the other side. And with one earpiece, you don't even need both.
The price is steep at €200, it's Apple after all. But what the company has managed to do is make everything so natural in its ecosystem that I wouldn't change it for anything!
Having an iPhone 14 Plus, I decided to buy these in order to have perfect compatibility with my phone, as well as maximum quality in sound and durability (180€). Within the 6 months that I have had them, I had to take them to the service center twice and they replaced both the headphones and the 2 AirPods (if it wasn't under warranty, the cost of replacing the headphones would be 160€), while many times the connection with the iPhone when I take them out of the case is very slow to the point where I miss calls. If the warranty expires and it happens again, I will simply throw them away. Repair is not worth it. Complete disappointment!!!!
The best headphones there are... in my opinion: we should look into this a bit because with today's standards it's not the best... of course, 5 stars!!!
I bought airpods solely because I can't wear headphones with ear cushions and I assumed they are the best choice! I can't say they have very good sound quality and they connect very easily! Also, in combination with an iPhone, they have many helpful functions! The negatives are that when you wear them, your ears hurt and their case scratches very easily! If you're thinking of buying them, friendly advice is to also get a rubber case that costs only 2-3 euros

The best headphones on the market. Former user of iPhone 11 and current Samsung S23 Ultra user. It connects directly to iPhone and supports spatial audio. On Android, it has very good sound, but obviously Apple continues to not provide all its capabilities to Android models. I bought these headphones because they are one of the few that do not have silicone in the ears, which bothers me. Finally, the price is reasonable considering that it provides one of the best sounds on the market
After four years with the 2nd generation AirPods, I decided to get the new model. I am very satisfied! I use them daily and their connection with my MacBook and iPhone is so easy, while the sound quality is excellent.
Amazing sound quality, connect incredibly fast, battery lasts a long time. I believe it's worth having them especially if you listen to a lot of music or talk a lot on the phone. Of course, they could be cheaper but ok, classic Apple.
After two and a half years, I changed my headphones and tried the same ones again! They are very resistant to water and drops, and their battery lasts quite a long time. The sound is really good. They are definitely worth it.
I bought them on 12/21 and after 2 years of use, they are like new. I use them daily for Skype calls at work. I use them on my iPad and iPhone, and my husband uses them on his iPhone as well, and they connect instantly. The person I'm talking to hears me crystal clear. Overall, they are worth every euro I paid (I bought them for 190€) as you get the quality of Apple.
Very good sound quality. Strong volume. Instant connection.
HOWEVER, the only problem is that I had them for 2 years and the left earbud has lost at least 20% of its sound volume. With specific settings (for iPhone) in "accessibility > AirPods > sound settings", I balanced the volume, with the left earbud reaching 78% (to have equal volume in both ears). The normal setting is at 0% for both ears.
Also, with this setting, the sound volume is significantly reduced and also distorted!
Nevertheless, I would recommend them because they provide nice sound and features! Pay attention to their management!

I believe it's one of the best purchases I've made recently.
For such small earphones, their sound is amazing.
I mainly use them for calls, music, and movies.
The frequency range is great, both in bass and treble.
In calls, everyone I asked said I sound better than using the phone's own microphone.
The battery is satisfactory (lasts about 6 hours of continuous use), although I don't have an opinion on its long-term performance.
The fit in the ears is satisfactory. Generally, I don't like earphones with ear hooks because I haven't found any that fit my ears so far. They're okay for walking, but when running, I often feel like they're falling out of my ears.
Excellent in every aspect, but a bit pricey (you get what you pay for).
Unfortunately, they became chew toys for my dog and he destroyed them. I will probably buy them again.
Good morning. It is the second time I will go to ISTORM. Again, there is a problem with the left earphone, it is hardly audible, while the right one is fine. I don't know if it's just me, but stay away. And mind you, I am a fan of Apple to the bone, but here it really disappoints me. I don't want to believe that I wasted 190 euros.
Daily connection with MacBook and iPhone, smooth switching between the two devices but there are also negatives. Firstly, the charging case broke, resulting in me having to charge it wirelessly. Secondly, one of the earphones has stopped working after 9 months, causing it to sound lower than the other one.
Predecessor of AirPods Gen 2, which left me 100% satisfied after 3 years of excessive use.
I was very hesitant due to the design to proceed with the purchase of Gen 3 and I was considering going back to Gen 2.
(There was no thought of getting the Pro, such type of headphones do not suit me at all)
However, after the purchase and several hours of use, I have the following to say:
- They fit perfectly in the ear despite looking thicker, they might even be more comfortable for extended use compared to Gen 2.
- EXCELLENT improvement in sound quality for podcasts and music.
- In calls, I didn't notice any significant difference, you can hear and be heard perfectly fine.
- Noticeably much longer battery life.
- I believe the "Tap" feature of Gen 2 was much more convenient than the "button" present in Gen 3 for answering calls, etc., although it might be a matter of getting used to.

I have been the owner of the AirPods 3rd Gen for about 3 months now. I didn't want to do a review until now, in order to have a complete opinion.
If you don't want to read the whole review, I have summarized it below. And I have also categorized it if you want to see specific information about a topic. Before the upgrade, I was using the 2nd gen since 2019. After almost 4 years of use, as expected, their battery was draining relatively quickly and I had higher sound requirements. So, I decided to upgrade to the 3rd gen.
Fit in the ears:
As with every AirPod (maybe except the Pro, which have different ear tips), how they fit in each person's ear is completely subjective. Initially, they are thicker and closer to the ear compared to the 2nd gen (and therefore, also the EarPods). I should note that the EarPods and AirPods 2nd gen fit PERFECTLY in my ears. So, I was a bit worried about the fit of the 3rd gen. Indeed, as a first experience, I was a bit disappointed. Their fit wasn't as good as the previous ones and I was quite afraid that they would fall out with the slightest movement. HOWEVER, I got used to them incredibly quickly in my ears and realized that they don't go anywhere. I use them while walking, on the bus, while playing basketball, while cycling, and they don't move at all. So, I'm glad I waited to do the review and didn't judge them unfairly. I just needed to give them a little time.
Sound:
INCREDIBLE sound. I don't have much to say here. The quality is amazing, the bass is exceptional compared to their predecessor and also compared to other brands I have tried (Samsung, Xiaomi). The Spatial Audio feature is fascinating and especially in the beginning, it's a lot of fun to discover and play around with it. Music sounds crystal clear on Apple Music and Spotify. When watching a movie on Apple TV with spatial audio turned on, no matter where you turn your head, you hear the sound coming from the direction where your phone is, and it feels like a cinema sound. (Note: when spatial audio is on, it consumes slightly more battery). They don't have noise cancellation, you will find that in the Pro models, but I don't need it anyway, so I don't mind its absence.
Calls:
You hear the person you're talking to perfectly, the microphone is excellent, maybe even better than the iPhone's and definitely better than the gen 2. It doesn't isolate the surrounding sounds as much, but it's definitely an improvement from the previous model.
Battery:
I have NO complaints about the battery life of both the earphones and the case. It lasts much longer than the 2nd gen when they were new. With normal use for music, movies, and occasional calls, they easily last for 6 continuous hours and more. (I have used them for up to 6 continuous hours and they still had almost 20% battery before I put them back in the case to charge). In a call, I have used them for a little over 4 hours until one of them ran out of battery. If you put them in the case for just 5 minutes, you get 1 hour of usage. So, even if they do run out, I have never been without earphones for more than 5 minutes. I charge the case approximately every 5 days on average. Sometimes even a week, and rarely 4 days. It depends on the usage each time. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the battery.
Connectivity:
Words are unnecessary. It's an Apple product and it has PERFECT compatibility with other Apple products. They have never disconnected, the initial pairing is incredibly fast and easy. They connect perfectly with my iPhone, Apple Watch, Mac, and Apple TV. I didn't expect anything less from Apple, especially since even after 4 years of use, my 2nd gen AirPods never disconnected and I never had any issues connecting them to any device. Flawless. (I can't speak for connectivity with non-Apple devices, except for a Windows laptop which connected just fine, although not as quickly as with the Mac.)
Controls:
Well, they don't have tap controls like the gen 2, which initially threw me off, but again, just like with their application in the ear, I just needed to give them some time to get used to. I have no problem with the controls, after a little bit of use and playing around with them to see what they do, you get used to them very easily and after just a few days, you start using them mechanically, without even thinking about it.
The controls are as follows and work on whichever of the 2 earbuds you choose to press:
Long press to activate Siri.
Single press to play/pause when listening to music or to answer and end a call.
Double press to go to the next track.
Triple press to go to the previous track.
Case:
Overall, a very nice case, the build quality is evident, it feels more sturdy than the gen 2. A big positive is that the interior hasn't gotten dirty at all in all these months (as you can see in the photo). The white can easily get dirty on the outside and get scratched if it's placed in pockets with keys, coins, etc., or in a bag. That's why I chose to buy a case that protects it from scratches and stains. Of course, there's no functional issue if they get scratched. The gen 2 went through incredible tumbles, fell down stairs, got scratched by keys, and still worked perfectly, they didn't suffer any damage, it was purely for aesthetic reasons, to keep them beautiful, clean, and shiny.
In summary:
For me, they are definitely worth the money. The sound is impeccable, the functions are flawless, and the battery life and charging time are incredibly satisfactory. As for the fit, because it's very subjective and depends on each person's ear, if you know someone who has them, I recommend borrowing them and trying them first because it's unlikely that a store will let you try them on your own ears.
They are worth 100%.

The headphones simply do not exist.
If you listen to a song on Apple Music with Dolby Atmos and lossless track, you understand why these headphones are made.
On Apple TV, you feel like you're in a cinema thanks to spatial audio. If you turn your head, the sound follows the movement. Unreal!
In conversation, they're okay, not wow. Most of the time, the speaker hears the surrounding sound very loudly.
This is not justified for their price.
There should be some noise cancellation.
As much as I searched, I didn't find any settings for this.
The fit in my ear is perfect.
They don't move at all while running.
Their battery, along with the case, covers my demanding use.

After three years with the AirPods 2nd generation, I decided to upgrade to the new model. I am really disappointed with the new design, which doesn't show in the photos, but they are quite bulky and don't fit properly in my ear. The sound quality is very good, but it doesn't isolate external noise enough when in use. This may be due to the wrong fit because of the size. The build quality is cheaper compared to the AirPods 2, but the battery life is better. The price does not reflect the overall quality.
Number 1 for me in headphones, I haven't encountered any problems and as for the quality, it's Apple, no need to say anything else.
In my own ears, they don't fit properly and keep falling off, so I gave them to another family member in the hope that they will fit better.
Personally, in my own ears, they fit perfectly and you don't have to worry about them falling out. They stay put even when running. Coming from the AirPods 2nd generation, the sound quality is clearly superior and the volume is very satisfying. Spatial audio is just amazing.
They are clearly larger than the previous AirPods I had. Initially, I was afraid of their application, but eventually I got used to them. I was completely satisfied with their battery life and of course the sound! Overall, a very good purchase, but as always, Apple is an expensive brand.
I don't have a preference for Android or iPhone, but I have to say that it has the easiest pairing I've encountered on a Bluetooth device. You just open the case and it connects.
2. Be careful where you purchase them from. The warranty is not always automatically activated, and you may need to contact Apple, which of course was quite helpful.

I'm back and giving it 1 star for the perfect sound! Tremendous, tremendous sound!! When I wear them and music plays, I feel like dancing! They lift my mood!
Nothing beats the sound quality.
I have them on 2 apple devices and whichever one I pick up, they connect automatically without me doing anything. Very convenient because I use them for many hours every day.
I found a better way to fit them, but unfortunately they still fall out at least twice a day during normal use. I mean without exercising, running, etc. If you want them for exercise, don't get them.
I hope they don't break from the falls!
It's a shame because they have amazing sound!

One star because if I'm going to lose them, it's pointless! I constantly feel like they're going to fall out and they actually do! Before you buy them, try them out from someone.
I wouldn't buy them again. I would either get the in-ear ones or the old classic AirPods which at least stay in place even if you jump around.
Extremely great headphones overall, they connect perfectly with the mobile despite being an authentic Apple product, they are overpriced but still worth it!

Great value for money. I've replaced the lights and use it every day to listen to music on my way to work.
It fell down with the case and nothing happened (could have been luck).
Only negative is that it doesn't fit perfectly in my ear (maybe my ears are too big).
It's truly the ultimate accessory if you have an iPhone or any Apple device for that matter. I bought it along with the 14 Pro Max and Watch Series 8 and it's truly the ultimate accessory if you talk on the phone a lot or listen to music. Spatial Audio is just INSANE, it's like you're in a recording studio and listening to the songs at that moment. Call and microphone quality is top-notch, there's no issue with microphone or anything else. Battery life is excellent as Apple has accustomed us for so many years and of course, when it comes to connectivity and speed, we're talking about another level of adherence. My only issue is the fit in my ears as it's not perfect and I'll have to get used to it, it has fallen twice until my ear adjusts. I'll come back with an update. Until then, buy without fear.
If you have an iPhone, the headphones are a must-have. Personally, they fit very well in my ears, connect quickly to my phone, and their battery lasts a long time. As for the negatives, as you may know, these specific headphones do not have noise cancellation (the Pro version does) and their price is currently a bit high. Get a case to avoid any external issues and they will definitely last you for years.
Much better than I expected! Sometimes the phrase "you get what you pay for" actually applies! They are so comfortable to wear that you forget you have them on! I highly recommend them without hesitation!
