Very effective, pleasant scent. This particular one has been used for quite some time and is purchased again and again, once the previous package is finished.
I ordered this cream along with the La Roche Posay Cicaplast Mains to try them comparatively. Xerand has a strong scent (whether it is nice or not is completely subjective), leaves greasiness for a long time, and you have to apply it frequently throughout the day to notice any difference. On the other hand, Cicaplast is the complete opposite and is almost odorless.
It was recommended to me by a dermatologist for my cracked hands that are rough and rough like sandpaper. It requires multiple applications throughout the day. I apply it almost every time I wash my hands, and I wash them very often due to the newborn. The positive thing for me is that my hands don't sting when I apply it like with other creams.
I bought Xerand and Cicaplast at the same time to be able to compare them. Both of them perfectly cover the feeling of "tightness" in my hands. For more serious cases, I believe Cicaplast will do a better job because it resembles petroleum jelly more and creates a film, while Xerand is the classic white cream.
While I am satisfied with the rest of the series, I did not like this cream at all! It softens them at that moment and, in the end, it does not improve the condition at all
Amazingly effective, this is the second time I buy it, it immediately softens my hands and they return to their normal state, as if it was made for me!
It is a very good hand cream, one of the best I have tried. However, the Lipikar Baume AP+ from La Roche-Posay, which is for baby skin, provides faster results in relieving cracked hands.
I have been dealing with atopic dermatitis and dry hands for years, and for this reason, I use moisturizing cream 5-6 times a day. I bought this specific one, although I have been using Bepanthol for years and I am very satisfied with it. When buying products for my baby's atopic dermatitis, I saw that La Roche (guarantee for dermatitis and dry skin issues) also had this product. Its price was very good, which pleasantly surprised me. It has a gentle but nice scent (unlike Bepanthol, which is more neutral) and does not leave any greasiness on the hands, but after a while, it is fully absorbed. It leaves a nice feeling and smells nice but not too strong. I can initially say that it does what it promises. I have noticed some improvement in my hands, but I cannot draw safe conclusions as I have not been using it for a long time. The initial results are very positive. Taking into account its very good price, the fact that it does not leave any greasiness on the hands (very important for me), and the reputation of La Roche in atopic dermatitis products, I will continue to use it in the coming months to reach safe conclusions.
