    This particular pad was placed in the appropriate dimensions on the PS4 Pro's APU because with regular thermal paste I had the so-called pump out effect, meaning the paste was thrown out of the center of the APU resulting in noise and high temperatures. Now it has stopped sounding like an airplane ready to take off, it's not excessively quiet but definitely the noise it makes in demanding games like Days Gone and God of War is noticeably less than before. It is good to insulate the SMDs with Thermal Grizzly TG Shield or with fireproof kapton tape because the pad is electrically conductive. (Thermal paste was placed in the 4 corners of the APU to keep the pad in place).
