The i40 Spina by HJC is a jet helmet, which, thanks to its open design at the bottom of the face, can be put on and taken off with ease. It is considered one of the lightest types of helmets, however, it leaves a large area of the face uncovered, therefore it is less safe compared to a full-face helmet. It is made of thermoplastic, a reinforced hard material of high strength. It fastens with a microlock, which allows you to fasten it easily and quickly. The helmet has European safety certification "ECE 22.05", which ensures that the helmet is tested for drop, impact, and object penetration. Additionally, it features a sun visor, which is an internal sunshade film, like glass, for protection from the sun.

Helmet
At first glance, you realize that this is a serious helmet.
It is somewhat heavy, but that's how all helmets with integrated sunglasses are.
It fits harmoniously on the head and you feel absolute safety. At the same time, the visor in front drops down to the chin, without letting the air hit the face and providing very good sound insulation, while the field of vision is fantastic as it doesn't restrict you anywhere and is essentially like not wearing a helmet at all.
The sunglasses do not bother me, even though I wear glasses for myopia since they sit a bit further forward - this is very important and very functional.
The previous helmet I had was a Piaggio in size Large, but here I wear Medium.
The ventilation could perhaps be better by providing more options, but I accept it since it is one of the Basic helmets of the company.
I have reservations regarding the pressure I feel on my cheeks (I was told it will loosen up) and its weight, so I will return with an update.
Excellent helmet, you can feel the quality from the first moment you wear it. While riding, the helmet does not bother you at all in terms of noise. The visor goes down to the chin, resulting in no air bothering the eyes at all (that's why this specific helmet was chosen), and visibility is as if you are not wearing a helmet. The sun visor is excellent, it goes down very easily with the special lever on the left at the base of the visor.
Conclusion: The weight of the helmet is unnoticeable when you wear it. For someone who wants quality and protection, with the visor going down to the chin and including a sun visor, this helmet from HJC under 100 euros loses a lot in material quality and is not worth the effort at all.
