As the owner of the mi true wireless e basic 2, I decided to upgrade to this particular model. After owning them for a year, I believe I have an opinion. First of all, I must say that the battery lasts me three weeks to a month, which I did not expect at all. Also, the sound quality is impeccable, you can hear everything and the sound does not distort even if you have it at maximum volume. Finally, their microphone is satisfactory, no issues at all. I bought them for around €40, but now that their price has dropped, it's worth buying them
These airpods are very good and do not require frequent charging (unless you use them daily). I have had them for about 1 year and they have not presented any problems. The only thing you need to be careful about is cleanliness.

I bought them a week ago and after five songs, the battery in the headphones died, obviously defective. The sound is not anything special, but when I activated the noise cancellation option for the air, it had a bit more bass. The fit on my ear is not that great, even though I used the large ear tips. I just received them yesterday. I have the Mi TW Earphones 2S which have powerful sound. These are a bit lower, but the sound intensity is satisfactory and leaves me satisfied with a more quality sound. I will come back with more impressions!
The right earbud never worked, it worked sometimes (very few) and sometimes none of them worked, luckily I replaced them and got the same ones, again, they were okay for the first 2-3 months, but one day the right earbud started to not work properly (it wasn't as loud as the left one). I will send them back to Xiaomi at some point and hope they will work properly again, and not just for 2-3 months...
After 10 days, the microphone gained AI and worked one out of 10 times. I could hear others clearly, but they couldn't hear me. Usually, it would work during the first conversation and then stop. I only kept it to listen to music.
Their quality is very good, the sound is amazing, I can hear and be heard very clearly on calls, and the connectivity with my Xiaomi phone is flawless! The battery lasts a really long time!!!
Great value for money. Excellent connectivity with poco F4, comfortable and lightweight to use. Good sound quality for conversations and a good microphone that makes you sound clear and audible. Also suitable for everyday music use at a normal level. If you want quality for music, bass, etc., you should go for a different category of headphones that are both high-quality and affordable. Unfortunately, my experience was very bad. I experienced what some people write here, the right earbud stopped working after only 3 days of use. It's tragic. They refunded me, and I didn't want to try a second pair.
While they worked, I had no problems. Good sound, sturdy construction, good noise cancellation for both external noise and microphone for my conversation partners. The ear cushions they came with weren't stable, as others have mentioned here. Fortunately, there were many in the package, and one of them worked perfectly for me. I would suggest trying them if someone already has them (but I wouldn't recommend buying them for someone who doesn't).
Also, I should mention that the issue with the right earbud and "parasites" has been resolved with an upgrade to the Chinese version. However, the global version sold here does NOT receive upgrades....
The truth is that I had quite a difficult time finding headphones at a relatively budget price that also had decent quality. I found it with these headphones. In summary:
Pros
- Very good construction of the headphones and the case.
- The case has a battery life of 20-30 hours. The headphones, especially when listening to music, feel like they never run out.
- The sound quality and bass are very impressive. With the equalizer settings on your phone, you can easily adjust them to your liking.
- Several pairs of ear tips in different sizes to accommodate every ear size.
- With just one hour of charging, the case has the aforementioned battery endurance. The package includes a small USB type C cable.
- 3 modes: active cancellation, wind cancellation, and another mode that allows you to have a sense of your surroundings while listening to music simultaneously.
Cons
Xiaomi... that says it all! Unlike the realme headphones I had before, there is no dedicated app for controlling them, viewing detailed battery levels, or even adjusting the touch controls. Also, if you connect them to a Xiaomi phone, there is Quick Connect. As soon as you open the headphone case, theoretically, a pop-up appears on your phone showing the headphone and case battery levels. I say theoretically because it doesn't always work in practice. However, this only applies to Xiaomi phones, so it's not a problem with other brands.
I bought them for 48€ and I highly recommend them! Great value for money right now!

For the past month, the battery life of the headphones has noticeably decreased. The case, however, is still in great condition. I'm not sure if it's normal after 26 months of owning them, as all batteries tend to face this issue over time.
