Comparison with Garmin heart rate monitors:

(+) The major advantage of Polar is that the heart rate monitor is detachable, so you can safely wash the strap. On the other hand, Garmin's heart rate monitor is integrated into the strap, so no matter how careful you are when washing it by hand, it will eventually get wet and break.

(++) Polar has a much more comfortable fit. Garmin's strap loosens after a few workouts and needs readjustment.

(+++) It has fairly good accuracy in heart rate measurement. However, I have noticed that sometimes, at the beginning of my workout, it keeps my heart rate steady at 70 beats per minute and then jumps to 120-130 beats per minute after 3 minutes of running. This only happens with this strap. Conversely, Garmin's strap sometimes gets confused when I have connected my phone, strap, and watch together and shows 250 beats per minute even though I haven't started running yet. Even when I completely remove it, it still shows the same reading.

(-) It connects to Garmin watches instantly, but it doesn't provide any other information on Garmin Connect besides heart rate. On the other hand, Garmin's straps excel in this aspect by giving you a complete analysis of your workout through Garmin Connect.

Having tried both (and for a considerable amount of time), I can confidently say that I prefer Polar

After 8 months, it started showing strange measurements during running (after some time, not from the beginning). I had a similar issue with the H9 as well. There is some manufacturing defect. Moreover, the strange thing is that when the strange measurements start during running, if I stop for a while (e.g., walking), the measurements return to normal, but when I start running again, the craziness begins. Other times, everything is fine.
Update: the problem is not with the transmitter but with the strap, which is not covered by the warranty. Cost of replacement is approximately €50.
Update 2: in less than 4 months after changing the strap and while everything was working fine (I didn't even need to change the battery), a hole opened up at the point where the transmitter attaches. Unacceptable quality!

The H10 is very expensive but the Polar strap is a joke, that's why only 3 stars. Spend 10 euros and buy one from ebay to last you years. Both the H7 and H10 straps started giving random readings over time.

Very accurate in measurements, works very well with the application on the iPhone. However, just two months after use, the strap has started to have problems at the point where one of the two clips that the transmitter attaches to. The measurements have not been affected yet, but it seems to be the weak point of the product.

So far, very good. I take off the monitor from the belt after each exercise so that the battery doesn't run out. It requires pairing every time, but it's simple.

Very expensive in measurements. It connects easily with the Polar Beat app on the mobile, which is also very detailed. The battery inside is easily replaceable, it is like a watch and lasts a long time. It is sweat resistant. And in the specific gym I go to, it is compatible with many machines.

After six months of use, it shows pulses but it's too bright. Probably the moisture is passing through the point you see in the photo...

3 stars because in order to upgrade it from 3.1.1 to 3.2.0, you need a previous version from android 13 or you have to find a device or send it to the polar service. Otherwise, it's perfect.

Excellent product for measuring heart rate with accuracy and one of the few for measuring HRV (Heart Rate Variability). It has no flaws and the 4 stars are because I would prefer it to have a rechargeable battery. If you forget it on the belt, it eats up batteries like seeds. No optical monitor matches its accuracy, and if it comes close, it will be a very expensive watch (except for the gt runner according to the video here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEM1m7OdlyY). The only way to go for accuracy and durability over time. The only negative thing I found is that when the battery runs out, I have to delete it from the polar & elite hrv apps I use in order for them to recognize it again from scratch on 2 phones and 2 tablets that I have tried it on.

Very good choice, I have it for about 5 years, I use it almost daily, it is waterproof, it can connect with 2 Bluetooth devices simultaneously, such as a mobile phone or a watch, it can also connect via Ant+ to all fitness equipment that support this specific treadmill function, ellipticals, etc.
    Accuracy in measurements.
I recommend the Polar application, it has heart rate zones that you can customize, although it also works with other applications like runstastic, strava, etc.
The strap is quite soft and does not tire, just make sure to get the right size.
It accepts upgrades through the Polar application. I have already upgraded twice.
The CR2032 battery lasts quite a long time, over 1 year.
    Recommended.

On the left is the new (h10) and on the right is the old... decade.
I haven't been able to connect it to sports tracker on Android 10 and 11. However, it works perfectly fine and gives accurate measurements with the Polar app.
Disappointing because the old Polar sensor worked perfectly fine. Even now on Android 11, it connects perfectly fine with sports tracker, but after so many years, it gives some extreme incorrect values.

I use it with iOS 15 and the Nikerun app on my mobile. Easy connectivity, great responsiveness. It stays in place without moving during running. It's exactly what I need. After 3 months of almost daily use, the heart rate monitor is good in every aspect

Holder of various pulse zones over time.

This one has the best construction quality (its strap).

It is VERY fast in fluctuations (e.g. in a sprint), I use it on my bike.

Positive that it can be connected to 2 BT devices if desired, as well as gym equipment!

P.S. Owner of a Yahoo belt (don't throw away 50€) in the drawer, simply terrible.
P.S.2. Owner of an old Garmin running belt (very good but didn't last - understandable)
P.S.3. Tried the simple Garmin belt, so-so.

This review is about the maximum chest circumference: 93 cm

One of the top in its category. Very good and accurate measurement of activity, with detailed presentation of activity progress (peaks/lows, pulses, results, etc). Literally like having a personal trainer/analytical training as it puts you in the process of improvement. Stable, long-lasting battery, simple Bluetooth connection, and the ability to store the workout on the device (if someone doesn't exercise with a mobile phone and wants to transfer it later to the device). Supports multiple sports. Fully worth its money.

After using watches to measure heart rate, I ended up with the polar H10 zone (even though all my friends-competitors only have watches)!
Pairing is a breeze, I use it with polar beat and Nike Running Club app, accurate measurements, comfortable application without any inconvenience, measurements even during weight training without using the phone-watch, it saves a workout!
Undoubtedly one of the best companies in its field!

Unbelievable accuracy, a very big difference compared to the watch I was wearing from a well-known company of a well-known Eastern Republic. After almost 20 years, Polar confirms my preference once again.
