A very good purchase at around €200. Apart from some synchronization issues during the first use, and after many resets on the first day, the watch connects steadily and continuously to non-Samsung Android phones.
It is important to grant the necessary permissions, Autostart, as well as to disable the battery saving function for Samsung Wearable and Galaxy Watch4 Plugin apps through the mobile's App Settings. If your phone automatically closes these apps, there may be connection and synchronization issues.
The Samsung Health app is very satisfactory and personally, I find it better than Google Fit so far. The Samsung Health Monitor app is the one you will need to sideload if you want the blood pressure and electrocardiogram to work (as it is only available on Samsung phones). For those who are familiar with cmd on Windows, adb, and have 5-10 minutes, they can find online the relevant instructions and necessary files to enable Blood Pressure and ECG on non-Samsung Android phones.
There are satisfactory options on the Play Store for more interesting and useful Watch Faces than those provided by Samsung with the watch, however, empirically I would say that it is worth spending 2-3 euros for a watch face that satisfies aesthetically and functionally as the best ones are paid and provide flexibility with widgets (shortcuts for apps and functions) on the home screen.
Finally:
it is positive that it supports Google Pay for payments (with banks that support it),
negative that it does not currently support Google Assistant (as there is no Google Home app for Android Wear),
and a mediocre battery situation that definitely lasts a day of use but not more if used extensively. It would be better if it had fast charging, but 0-100 takes 2 hours.
If you want to rely on the battery and charging of the smartwatch, then it's ideal. Daily charging can be tiring. Yes, it has all the features it has (only when connected to android), but that's about it.
The build quality seems very good. The measurements and all the tools it has are also flawless. But guys, it doesn't last 12 hours without any special use... You can't take it off every so often and charge it a little. I wouldn't buy it again if I could choose due to its terrible battery.

In everything else it is good but this battery suffers... It does not have a long autonomy, only that, it needs to be charged every 2 days for sure. What a pity...
The watch is top-notch in everything except for two main disadvantages.. a, it is very fragile, the screen shatters easily in a low fall. b, The battery with Bluetooth connectivity lasts about 8 hours.

First time smart watch owner. Overall, I am satisfied with its features. The battery needs to be charged every day/day and a half, but reading the reviews you expect it and eventually it doesn't bother me so much. For ECG and Blood Pressure you need to have a Samsung mobile to install the app, but with a little searching and a little trial and error you can find the modded Samsung Health Monitor app that allows you to bypass the restrictions and install it on your mobile.
Very good watch even though I didn't expect anything less...2 years of use without any problem..The only negative is that if someone sends you a photo on messenger or somewhere else, you can't see it while on watch 3 it displays it normally.

Nice watch, I bought 2 for my children, rich features, but what I didn't take into consideration at all was the battery life. I really see them charging it every 1-1.5 days. The only, but significant reason why it's not worth its money. At least I hope the battery life is long, let's wait and see.

The smartwatch is excellent! I've had it for 2 weeks and I'm still discovering new features of it. I have the 40mm as I have a very small wrist and it looks beautiful! I have had the watch for a year and a half, the battery issue that everyone mentions is indeed a problem but it doesn't bother me. With all the apps I need and if you adjust it correctly, it lasts until late afternoon with 20% remaining and it's enough for me. Depending on the use each person makes of it, they find it either perfect or rubbish. It is a complete health assistant with measurements of heart rate, oxygen, blood pressure, and electrocardiogram. As for the negatives, it has a small battery for these data. It lasts for 2.5 days with basic functions and not continuous medical monitoring. The measurements are accurate, but as we said, it depends on the use you want.
Quite a good choice for a watch, it has many positives such as sleep tracking, heart rate monitoring, and others. But what bothers me is that it requires constant measurements for blood pressure with another measuring device in order to measure my blood pressure. Overall, it is quite useful. I wouldn't recommend buying such an expensive smartwatch as your first one, and definitely not for small children, it's a waste of money. Also, I suggest buying something to protect the screen along with the watch. I had an issue where the screen got scratched, after all
I had the Watch Active 2, which in my opinion was much superior in terms of its design. It looked more like a real watch and the metal looked like metal. The touch "rotating" bezel on the Active 2 was much easier to use as it had a call function.
The Watch4 feels and looks like plastic. The strap had a large margin and it doesn't work without Google Play service, which forced me to switch from Huawei P40 lite to Samsung A52s.
The connection was very easy and thanks to the Google Play Store, I was able to install several useful applications. The measurements are good, you can do a lot of things, especially if you have a smart home with a home assistant. The battery lasts about a day, and a little longer with power saving mode. Many times when I'm away from home and don't have the charger, I switch it to watch only mode on the second day so it doesn't completely shut down.
The charging is quite slow, about an hour and a half.
In conclusion, for its price, it is very decent. It can do many things and the battery lasts a day, as expected. If you can, of course, go for the new Watch6 or the Watch5, which promises a longer battery life and will have support for more years.
Bought it five months ago for 138 euros (value for money). The screen is very clear, its smart functions cover all your needs, its measurements are very accurate, and the tools and applications it provides, combined with a Samsung phone, exceed your expectations. In terms of exercise, the environment of both the watch and the mobile phone is very good, showing you in detail everything related to your workout. The Body Composition feature is also very accurate, although it could use some improvements. In the battery department, I believe Samsung could do more. The battery is disappointing, but it does its job just fine. It lasts a maximum of 1.5 days with normal use, and I charge it every night when I take a shower before going to bed because I need it to track my sleep, and it serves me well. Overall, the watch is very good. I believe it outperforms watches from other major companies in its field and is a great value for money, so don't hesitate and go buy it without thinking twice. Very good screen, waterproof in the sea, Google Pay for contactless payments, very good microphone and speaker, wireless charging, but only with its charger or with wireless sharing on the back of a Samsung mobile phone in the S series models. (It's true that because the battery doesn't last more than 1.5 days, it has become inconvenient for me. I don't carry the charger with me anywhere and I charge it at night on my phone).
Finally, you can reply to written messages on all applications, and of course, you can make calls from the watch to any contact and even type a number outside of contacts.

Excellent watch for its price, large screen, I do not recommend this size for a slim female wrist. It is for a male or a large wrist.
Although I had read reviews about the battery, I did not expect it to be so bad. Without activating the screen by shaking my hand, without wifi, NFC, low brightness, and without decent functions, it barely lasts a day and a half. If you exercise and use it, it lasts less than a day! However, the biggest disappointment is the measurements in open water. You can swim 50 meters and the measured distance is stuck. In cheaper watches, the measurements are much more accurate. On the positive side, it has a lot of activities, but with such inaccurate measurements in swimming, I doubt its reliability. I will definitely not say that it is worth the 135 euros I paid...

Everything is good, the screen, hardware, and overall everything, but I removed one star for two reasons:
1) It has many useful features and futures that are only for Samsung mobiles, which is very negative.

It needs charging in at most 10 hours. You should always have a charger with you. Unless you don't want all the apps to be running, so the battery will last for 1 day
