The ultra-wide monitors are good up to 29 inches, I work with 2 at work. When you go to 34 inches, practically you lose desk space to have the same resolution as a 29-inch and you have worse Dot Per Inch. It should have a higher resolution.
Even in a black Friday offer playing at 250, it's not worth it when you can still get the AOC 34-inch for 60, which has QHD 3440x1440 and 144Hz.
Excellent computer screen for everyday use. The size of the screen with a 21:9 aspect ratio is ideal for multitasking, comfortably allowing for 2-3 windows to be open. You would think it's a 32-inch screen, but it doesn't strain your eyes at desk distance. Its base is stable and its height doesn't change, but it's ideal for use on a desk as it can rotate up and down for better viewing. It doesn't have speakers to be standalone, but it has a conventional audio output and the volume can be adjusted through the menu if the speaker doesn't have a volume control. Additionally, with its 2 HDMI ports, you can connect a PC/Laptop and a console and it has automatic switching, making it easy to use with 2 sources.
As for content, it plays videos from YouTube exceptionally well (there are now ultrawide videos available, check out the trailer for Avatar 2) and all movies through apps that support this resolution (2560x1080), as it fills the screen. Otherwise, in 2K or 4K content, it displays with black bars on the sides, but they are not bothersome as the screen is large enough at this distance, and the black is very good, making the bars disappear. Needless to say, the screen is incredible for PC gaming with games that support a 21:9 aspect ratio, such as Red Dead Redemption 2, Age of Empires 2, Witcher 3, No Man's Sky. It's like playing different games! It can also be used for gaming with new consoles, but since there are no games in a 21:9 aspect ratio and the screen doesn't support 4K resolution like smart TVs, it is not recommended as the image appears blurry from this distance.
In the end, its price for what it offers is truly value for money (under 200€), as it significantly enhances the user experience for work and entertainment at the desk. Once you learn to work on an ULTRAWIDE monitor, you won't go back to the old ones!
I don't play games, so I won't give an opinion. If you connect it to a modern PC/laptop to support the 2500 horizontal, it's better than 2 screens. Keep in mind that you can't have extra 2 screens on a laptop without additional equipment. It doesn't get tired after 8 hours of use. On Mac, wow... Finally, a wide and spacious environment...

Valorant is simply ridiculous and because I like to be fair, I made a ticket to riot and followed the steps they told me, but nothing happened again so I didn't do anything.
As for the Youtube issue, there are extensions but it zooms in on the image, essentially you have 29 but you see in 9.

To users of Apple Silicon products (M1, M2, etc.). In order for the screen to capture regular 1080p, it requires configuration with external software (e.g. BetterDisplay), otherwise the image quality is very poor (comparable to 480p). This applies to all screens that are not 4K when connected to these specific products.

Well, this is my first experience with an ultrawide monitor and therefore I may not be objective. Although the screen is fine in terms of color performance, brightness, etc., I have two significant complaints. 1. Its height is excessively short, approximately the same as a 22'' monitor. I was deceived by the 29'' size, and personally, I regret it because no one mentioned the height or the dimensions of the panel in general. Maybe it's my mistake since I don't have a similar experience with this type of monitor. The second and most important complaint is that most sellers state a 3-year warranty, which was confirmed to me over the phone by the store from which I ordered it. However, when I went to register the product with LG, I saw that it says 2-year warranty, which is what actually applies. In any case, I was not satisfied with the product because I expected something else. In conclusion, I would suggest not buying it unless you see it in person first.
