Wasted money... burnt colors indeed as someone else mentioned, it meets UK specifications and no matter what adjustments you make, the result is terrible!! Side by side with a simple LG FHD, the FHD has superior color and image quality.... The optical plug is not properly attached to the chassis, causing it to detach on its own. LG claims that I caused the damage and they even asked me for money to fix it, and they would keep it for at least a week... This was the last LG product I will buy (and I have many)
It was purchased in early October 2022 for €459 and so far I cannot find any negatives. Vibrant colors, user-friendly menu, it also has a voice assistant in Greek. It has the magic remote which is a very useful remote control once you learn it, it has Google Assistant (requires an LG account set up for the UK to work), and I have set it up with Google Home to turn on/off and play Netflix when I tell it to.
Value for money!
In a few words, after 2 TV changes and 2 months of inconvenience, I returned it and got a refund. Even at the store, they saw that the picture quality was terrible. The difference is in the model, there is the 756RA which is the European model and the 756PR which is the model for England (only). The difference between them is in the Hz that the screen synchronizes and the result is what those who are dissatisfied describe in the reviews here. The 756RA model is a good TV, but not as good as one would expect from Nano technology. The sound is a bit boxed in and the menu is slow. The positive thing is the remote control that has motion control in the air, like a computer mouse. The 756PR model, which is intended for the English market, is 60Hz instead of 50Hz, which is the European one, and what changes in the picture is that all the colors appear burnt. Green prevails, appearing as a neon green, and blue gives the whole image a noticeable cyan tint, as if you have increased the blue color by about 30% above the other colors. Of course, the situation cannot be corrected with settings, so I draw your attention not to make the same mistake as me and many others. So, if you see on the side of the box it says 756PR (or 756PA/PR, which was written on mine), then leave it without a second thought and choose another TV, another model. If it only says 756RA, then it is the "good" one, but still, for me, it does not have the expected performance, so I returned it, kept my old one, which is almost the same, and bought a 65-inch OLED, which is top-notch. (For comparison, I mention that I also have the Philips 43PUS8505, which is exactly the same TV as the 43NANO756RA, but it has Ambilight and, for me, slightly better sound performance and a more user-friendly menu. That was the reason I went to buy the LG, but I made a mistake with the 756PR model.)
Purchase: 12/01/22. The TV has a very good resolution for its price, and the sound is decent. The magic remote is amazing, with a viewing angle of up to 50-60 degrees, it's great until it breaks. The support legs are fake, I hung it on the wall to keep my head calm!! The drawbacks I noticed are that the colors are somewhat dark, especially in night scenes, etc. The solution to this is to disable the eco option in the picture.
I struggle to fix the sound that the speaker makes inside the furniture where I have it. It has low brightness even though I have turned off the energy saving. Overall satisfied. Definitely still needs improvement, so I might come back to it.
Do not rely on factory settings, make the necessary adjustments yourself and the image will satisfy you to a great extent. Of course, where you will enjoy and appreciate it is if you watch 4k videos on YouTube or from another source.
Completely disable energy saving and you will see the true light.
The media player plays movies flawlessly from the USB port, without any problems, and the subtitles (the subtitle file must have the same name as the movie).
Connectivity (Wifi, Bluetooth) without problems, the controller with the pointer is very good.
The main drawback is that in order to have the best result in the image, you must watch it from the correct angle in relation to the panel's level.
Generally satisfied, it could be cheaper. If it withstands the test of time, it will be a good purchase.
At a viewing angle of over 40 degrees, it's like watching a different television, color distortion. Purchase on 24/12/21
