Inertia tank BUF1 Inox by Assos, with a capacity of 500 liters. It is essentially a water storage tank designed to maintain the water temperature for a long time. It is designed to directly store the heat (hot water) produced by any type of boiler or even solar collectors for long periods of time, even when the boiler or collectors are not producing heat. This allows for significant energy savings, as you can use hot water for heating without the operation of any of the above heat sources.

It is usually connected in series with any type of boiler, in order to store the heat it produces and operate for many hours, even with the burner off. The heat exchanger it has is usually connected to another heat source, usually solar collectors. This further increases the temperature, resulting in the burner operating even fewer hours, minimizing the energy demand for space heating. Additionally, the heat exchanger allows for the production and storage of hot water for use. It can also be used for storing cold water with the only difference being that instead of being connected to solar collectors or a boiler, it is connected to water coolers. Optionally accepts electric resistance, as there is a corresponding waiting. So it gives you another alternative energy source so that you have another heating option for water.

The water storage tank has an internal enamel coating, which is the result of applying enamel (glass) on metal. This results in protection against rust, as the water does not come into contact with the walls, ensuring always clean water.
